Yet again, the same thing happened this day too. There was more of a difference today though.
Felix wore a rainbow-striped tan-top, a white jacket, and white ripped jeans again.
Chris wore a black t-shirt, and black pants with a black baseball cap.
"Hey Chris!" Felix said, smiling brightly when he saw Chris enter the room.
"Hello Felix!" Chris said.
"You look great today Chris! Do you just want another black coffee today?" Felix said.
Chris blushed. "Yep! And thank you for the compliment Felix!" Chris said.
Felix made the coffee, and handed it to Chris.
Chris smiled and grabbed a dollar out of his wallet. Today, Chris had a dollar with him.
They exchanged items, and Chris went to the usual table he sat at.
Eventually, more costumers filled the place again.
Chris left in a hurry, without saying goodbye.
Felix didn't think much of this, for he was playing a game on his phone.
He looked up and saw an old lady.
"Um, excuse me? I don't mean to be a bother but there are no clear tables. Could you clean one for us?" The old lady said. The same old lady as to days ago. And she was with her husband again.
He put his phone down on the counter.
"Oh, yes! I'm sorry, I didn't notice! I'll have one cleaned in no time." Felix said, as he looked around the building.
Felix went to the nearest table, which happened to be the one Chris always sat at.
He picked up the cup, and the napkin Chris had used. He also found Chris's wallet.
"Oh no, I hope he doesn't need this!" Felix said, frowning at the problem.
Felix went to throw the napkin away, but saw something on it that looked like hand writing.
He looked at it again, and it was indeed handwriting.
He read the words written on the napkin.
"Hey Felix! It's Chris. I probably look dumb for writing this on a napkin, but here is my number: ###-###-####. Feel free to call me or text me any time! ♡" Is what the note had written on it.
Felix put the cup Chris used in the café's kitchen sink. He read the note again and blushed a little bit.
He hurried to grab his phone that was by the cash register.
When he got there, he saw a random man take his phone.
"Hey sir, um.. That's my phone." He said smiling awkwardly.
The man looked him up and down and scoffed.
"Finders keepers kid. Didn't they teach you that in school?" The man said.
"Ha-ha. Give it back please." Felix said, getting annoyed.
Just then, Chris walked in.
"Oh Chris, you're just in time. This man took my phone and I'd like it back." Felix said, making an annoyed face at the man.
Chris immediately understood what was going on, and stared at the man.
"Give the phone back bud, or I will hurt you without hesitation." Chris said.
"Pft, fine." The man said, giving Chris the phone and leaving.
It was easy for Chris to look intimidating.
Chris watched the man leave. He then turned to Felix with a small smile.
"Did you get the note?" Chris asked.
"Sure did! I was about to add your number to my phone." Felix said, smiling back.
"Sweet! Oh, and have you seen my wallet around here?" Chan asked, scratching the back of his neck.
"Yes in fact! I have it right here." Felix said, handing the wallet to Chris.
Chris took the wallet and hugged Felix. "Thanks Felix!" Chris said, still hugging Felix.
Felix was surprised at first, but quickly hugged Chris back.
