Kenma walked away from the Shoyo's house. There was no reason to be there if Shoyo was gone. Kenma thought of going to look for Shoyo, but that would take forever. He won't have enough time to contact Shoyo before he disappears for good. Kenma was about to turn the corner to his house when his phone went off.

"Who is xxx-xxx-xx54?" Kenma questioned. He pressed the 'accept call' button and placed the phone to his ear.

"KENMA! YOU PICKED UP!" Hinata's voice screamed through the phone. Kenma pulls his phone away from his face from Hinata's screaming. "I was worried that you would decline the call. I had to get a new phone so Koshi couldn't track me!"
"Hey, Shoyo," Kenma says after a few seconds. "Where are you?"

"I'm with Kageyama! We had to get food before we move into our new house," Hinata shouts excitedly. Kenma heard Kageyama's voice yelling at Hinata on the other side of the line.

"Sorry Kenma," Hinata finally speaks.

"It's fine. So why did you call me?" Kenma asks.

"I want to talk to you in person, but you need to pass a test," Hinata whispers. Kenma looks at his phone curiously. "You are the only one that can solve this test, but it is if you can keep it a secret."

"What do I have to do?" Kenma mumbles. The was a loud rustling before Hinata spoke again.

"I'll send you a message that you can only solve. Don't record it or write it down, just remember this message," Hinata whispers. "Come to Shinso's cafe on August 23 at 12:25 a.m."

"Okay. I got it," Kenma says calmly. Another moment of rustling before the call ended. "What the fuck?" Kenma continued his walk home pretending that nothing happened.

Kenma walked into the living room, catching the attention of Inuoka and Yamamoto.

"You are home already?!" Yamamoto exclaimed.

"It hasn't been two hours yet!" Inuoka yelled.

"Inuoka! Don't yell in the house!" Kuroo calls from his room. Kenma rolls his eyes and goes to his room. At least Fukunaga won't bother him for coming home early. Kenma walked in and sat on his bed. Fukunaga was on a chair reading but didn't seem to notice Kenma.

"Fukunaga?" Kenma mutters. Fukunaga put the book and looked at Kenma. "What would you do if your best friend was in an abusive household?"

"It depends on how badly they are treated. But overall, I would help out my friend." Fukunaga responds. "If they can get out safely but the parents are trying to get them back, then I would go to the police."

"But Shoyo's father is chief of police!" Kenma cries. "I would just be helping his parents instead of Shoyo."

"Did Shoyo run away, Kenma?" Fukunaga asks. Kenma sprawls over his bed. His head is hanging over the side, looking at Fukunaga upside down.

"It seems like it," he mumbles. Fukunaga nods but doesn't say anything. "He wants to talk to me, but what should I tell him?"

"Think about the reasons why Shoyo ran away," Fukunaga says. Kenma turned over to look at Fukunaga properly.

"His mother was abusive and he couldn't take it anymore."

"Then think of what you want to do to help him." Kenma stares off into space. Thinking about what he could do to help Shoyo from his situation. Kenma's phone buzzes and Kenma picks it up. A message notification from Shoyo's phone:

The note is at your house. I trust that you won't tell anyone :)

Kenma got up and went to the front door.

" Hey, Kenma! This paper showed up. It's not directed to someone, so we are going to look at it!" Yamamoto says. Inuoka was there smiling. Kenma looked at Yamamoto's hand, which was holding a paper with drawings and numbers on it.

"Sure, I'll take a look at it, " Kenma responds.

"Dad! Something is wrong with Kenma!" Yamamoto yells. Kenma slaps Yamamoto across the face. Kuroo comes into the room as Kenma is slapping Yamamoto.

"Yamamoto? What the fuck did you do?" Kuroo sighs. Yamamoto's face was in shock from Kuroo's response.

"I didn't do anything! Kenma just slapped me!" Yamamoto shouts.

"Kenma only slaps people if you do or say something to piss him off, " Kuroo explains. "Like this. . ." Kuroo turns to face Kenma. Kenma already knew what was going to happen, but just looked at Kuroo. "Kitten? Is there something wrong?" As expected, Kuroo earned a slap across the face plus a kick in the groin. Kuroo groaned and fell over. Yamamoto watches Kuroo on the ground groaning. Kenma giggled, grabbed the paper, and walked to his room. Before Kenma left, he stamped on Inuoka's foot. Inuoka screamed and fell off the chair he was sitting in. Yamamoto stared at his father and brother on the ground because of Kenma.

Kenma sat down at his desktop, placing the paper in front of him. Fukunaga saw Kenma looking at something so was interested. He got up from his chair and looked over Kenma's shoulder.

"What is that?" Fukunaga asks. Kenma shrugs and continues to look at it. "Do you know what it says?"

"Yeah, but I can't tell you," Kenma says. He turns his head to see Fukunaga better. Fukunaga leans closer to see the note.

"It's pretty easy to solve," Fukunaga states. "It says to go to the small central park on August 23 at 12:25 p.m."

"I got the same thing, but there has to be more," Kenma says. Kenma grabbed a pencil and a highlighter. He started to write and highlight parts of the note. Fukunaga leaves Kenma alone. He leaves the room to give Kenma some quiet time. Yamamoto came running in right after Fukunaga left.

"Kenma!" Yamamoto yells. "Give me back that-" Yamamoto tries to grab the note, but Kenma grabbed Yamamoto's hand before he could get it.

"Get out," Kenma says coldly. "It's for me."

"No. It wasn't addressed to you!" Kenma began to squeeze Yamamoto's hand. Yamamoto's mouth gaped open trying to make noise, but nothing came out.

"Get out before I kill you," Kenma growls. He let go of Yamamoto's hand. Yamamoto ran off calling Kuroo. "This thing is useless." Kenma crumps up to the paper and tosses it in the trash. He looks at his phone for the 23rd of August. "It's about a week from today." Kenma sighs and lays in his bed. "That's too late. I have to look for him tomorrow."
