Koshi was a very free-spirited person in high school. He loved to party, go shopping with his friends, and go out with his friends. He did get serious about school and sports. He was part of the volleyball team. In school, Koshi was always on top. He was doing well enough that he was able to tutor some people. Koshi loves helping others succeed so that's why he decided to tutor people. Tons of people tried getting Koshi to help them. Koshi set up a website and a phone number so people could call or set up a time for an hour to two-hour tutoring sessions.

The school loved Koshi and his group. They were energetic, very skilled, and very engaging. One of his friends was class representative and a fantastic chef. Another friend was part of the boys' volleyball team. He was the best middle blocker. Oikawa was also part of the group. He was also on the volleyball team. Oikawa took the setter position in his first year of high school. Koshi was upset with not playing the setter position, but he learned to get better at spiking. He became an amazing wing spiker and would play in games to throw off the other teams. Everyone loved how determined Koshi was in everything.

"Koshi! We did it! We won!" Oikawa shouted. Koshi didn't move. He looked at the other side of the court where the ball rested. It was the finals of Spring high nationals, 3-2, Koshi's team won. They are only first years, Oikawa and Koshi, and they were the best volleyball team.

"Koshi?" Oikawa whispers. "We have to line up."

"We did it," Koshi mumbles. "We got first place." Oikawa nods and pulls Koshi to line up. They finished up the game and started to get ready to leave.

"Hey Koshi! Some reporters want to talk to you," Koshi's friend, Fumihiro, called. Koshi stopped what he was doing. He went to where some reporters were standing.

"Hello, Sugawara!" a reporter says. "Thank you for doing this interview."

"Hello," Koshi answers. A couple of other reporters surround Koshi, ready for the interview.

"So what was it like to play that game?" the reporter asked.

"It was very nerve-racking. I was worried that we weren't going to win. When our coach put me in the game, all my worries lifted off my shoulders," Koshi responds.

"Okay," the reporter says. "You scored that last point with an amazing line shot! Right before that spike, you did an amazing block. How did you do that block and a spike so well? What were you thinking as it was happening?"

"I spent a lot of time training this technique and this is the first time it worked. I was not thinking about anything except scoring the last point," Koshi says proudly. The reporters ask a couple more questions. After the ceremony, Koshi's team went back to the inn. They all cleaned up and ate dinner. Koshi quickly cleaned up his dinner and left for his room. Oikawa noticed and followed Koshi.

Oikawa saw Koshi quickly enter the room. He decided to go in and see if he was okay.

"Koshi?" Oikawa whispers as he is opening the door. "Are you okay?" Oikawa walks into the room and sees Koshi on his bed, crying. "Koshi? Why are you crying?"

"My parents found out," Koshi stutters. "They said that I shouldn't come home and go die somewhere alone." Oikawa looked at Koshi shocked. How could his parents treat him like that? Oikawa sat on the bed and tried to cradle Koshi. Koshi snuggled closer and continued to cry. Oikawa didn't say anything, he just played with Koshi's hair until he calmed down. He knew that Koshi would struggle with this feeling for a long time. It was probably killing him inside right now, but what could Oikawa do about it?

Koshi fell asleep a few minutes later and Oikawa not long after. One of their teammates came into the room because they were sharing a room with Koshi. They saw Oikawa and Koshi cuddled next to each other, so they decided to leave and stay in someone else's room.
