A week later, Jake ran to the animal hospital and saw Star. "Hey Star." He said. Star weakly meowed back. "So where's the kittens?" Jake asked the doctor. "Right here." He said, pointing to 5 tiny newborns, sleeping on the fuzzy blanket.

At Jake's home

"AWE! SO CUTE!" Jake's little sister, Amanda squealed. "CAN I HAVE ONE?!" She asked. "Shh!" Jake said. Then he nodded.

"VALENTINE'S DAY IS COMIN UP!" Milly shouted when everyone arrived at rehearsals. "Ooh! Is the pink haired devil gonna confess her feelings to Elliot-"

"WHAT NO! I'M JUST EXCITED FOR UHH C-CANDY!" Milly quickly interrupted Jake. Hmm what should I give Daisy? Wait. Am I supposed to give something to the band members? Jake thought. "Alright enough already." Hailey laughed. "Let's just get started." Hailey said.

After rehearsal

Okay okay. OOH! I think I should give Daisy one of the kittens! Jake excitedly thought. "JAKE!" Miss. J suddenly said, loudly. "Huh? Oh yes?"

"I've been trying to get your attention for 5 minutes." Miss. J said. "Oh. Sorry."

~after school~

"Hey Jake!" Lia said. "Hi." Jake said, ready to leave the school. "Sooo do you have a Valentine date?" Lia asked. "Umm no..." Jake said. "Well then-"

"Jake!" Hailey waved at him and ran towards him. Jake was glad that she interrupted. "Hey Hails." Jake said. "The competition is only a few months away!" Hailey said. "Yep. and we'll win." Jake reassured. "Well Cya." Jake said after a moment. "Bye." Hailey said, going to the other side of the road. Jake burst into his house to find Drew, Liam, and Henry.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jake asked. "Hey! Can't we visit a friend?" Liam said, pouting. "I heard you got kittens." Drew said. Amanda lifted the newborn babies and dropped one. "AMANDA!" Jake shouted, catching the kitten before she hit the ground. "Oop! S-sorry!" Amanda said, setting the newborn kittens down on a blanket. "Where's the mother?" Henry asked. As if on cue, Star came strolling in. She head-butted Jake and started licking her kittens. "Ah. There she is." Henry. Drew glanced at her collar. "Star huh?"

"Uhh yeah. Hailey helped me name her."

"No wonder the name was horrib-I mean not like you!" Liam said. "Yea well..." Jake just petted Star.

"Sooooo Jake." Drew said. "How about those music freaks? When are you just gonna like...y'know...ditch them?" He asked. "What? Why would I..."

"You said that you only joined for Daisy. Just confess on Valentine's day. Then you could leave." Drew said. "I...I can't." Jake said. "Why not?"

"Listen I think you guys should leave. Too many sounds can hurt the kitten's hearing." Jake said. "Fine." Drew said, narrowing his eyes. Drew, Liam, and Henry walked out of the house. Jake sighed. How will I explain that I love music? He thought.
