chrisevans: This is Layla about 3 months pregnant. Inside of Layla, she's growing our baby. Never in a million years would I have thought that my dream life with this girl I met back in 2012 would ever happen. Layla's the most wonderful woman in the world. Sure, like most, she's been through a lot, but this girl, that's only gone and made her stronger. Her challenges have made her the woman she is today, making her the most wonderful woman in my eyes. When she had called me and told me to visit her in the hospital 6 months ago, and she told me she was pregnant, and that it was mine, I couldn't believe it. I couldn't understand how I got to be so lucky that this woman who I've watched grow is about to be the mother of my child in a mere 3 months from now. If you were to ask me back in 2012, when I first met her when she came to set to visit her father, if I would see myself, now 4 years later, in love with her and having her as the mother of my child, I would've called you absolutely insane. But, that's what Layla did. She's made my wildest dreams come true and I can't wait for our journey together as parents. Already, three months before baby Evans arrives, she's the most wonderful mother. Seeing her face light up at every ultrasound is like a treasure. I love this girl to death and can't wait for what else is to come.
not gonna lie, writing that made me cry. I know they're just characters in a silly book I'm writing but the love that Chris has for Layla is just... ugh.
