Chapter 2

"What is it, I have to get to Potions'' I said nervously, not knowing what he was doing. 

"Listen, we're trying to get members for our "club" in order to actually learn skills in defense against the dark arts'' Ron said quickly. 

"I don't mean to sound rude but why would I want to learn defense against the dark arts from students in the same year as me," I ask in the nicest way possible.

 "Well for your information, Harry will be teaching us" Ron replied. 

"HARRY" I laughed hysterically. 

"Harry is a skilled wizard, you saw all he has done for this school, he saved all of us MORE THAN ONCE," Ron said defensively. 

"Yes trust me, I KNOW, that is all everyone talks about, HARRY is just our lord and savior, HE IS our HERO" I yelled to Ron. 

My blood was boiling, I wouldn't be shocked if steam started to flow out of my ears. 

"And what exactly is Harry going to 'teach us' for?" I said putting quotation marks in the air. 

"Incase 'you know who' comes back, we will all be prepared and we won't be if we keep listening to what Umbridge is teaching to us," Ron said while lowering his voice. 

"You know what, if Voldemort comes back I think Harry and his little posy got it, don't you think Ron, Harry can save us all again, LIKE HE DOES EVERY TIME," I said while storming out of the closet.

I got a lot of weird stairs while quickly walking back to the common room. 

I felt an arm grab me and pull me back. 

I looked up at Ron's face that was filled with worry. 

"Lavender I don't know if I did something wrong, but I apologize, and I hope I see you at the meeting tomorrow," he said as he let go and started to walk away. 

"Thank you, Ron, and maybe I will stop by, sorry for screaming, just a little stressed," I said calmly. 

He continued to give me a smirk, waved, and walked away. 

A huge smile on my face grew, along with the redness of my cheeks and the butterflies in my stomach.
