Valentines Day

It was Valentines Day.

I was waiting for Peyton to show up at my house.

I waited.

And waited.

He didn't show up.

I was beginning to worry that he forgot about Valentine's Day.

And then it started to snow.

"Great", I thought to myself.

Could this day get any worse?

I turned on the news, and it said no one can drive, or else they would get a ticket.

I groaned and started texting Peyton.

He wasn't responding.

I sighed and laid down on my bed.

Then I burst into tears.

Later on, heard a knock on my door.

When I opened the door, there was a letter.

I opened it and it said,"Go to the park, and meet your next surprise.

I grabbed my thickest winter jacket, and left for the park.

The park was only 5 blocks away, so I got there fast.

Next there was a message in the snow that said,"Go to the place we first met."

The ice cream shop.

I quickly reached my destination.

There was a table in the middle of the room with candles and a box.

In the box it said "Turn around."

And I did.

There stood Peyton down on one knee and he said "Will you Marry Me?"

I nodded my head as the tears flooded down my face.

I kissed him and smiled.

This is the best Valentines Day ever.
