One Word

sabrina

i held Rowan's hand, and she lead me down the long hallway.

the whole situation confused me, but didn't dare to ask.

whenever i opened my mouth, she would glare at me.

the lights at the end of the hallway were off, but she continued to drag me.

candles started to appear along the floor, and flower petals were all over the floor.

after what felt like forever, i could hear some muted music in the distance.

butterflies instantly appeared in my stomach.

was i going to be murdered?

i tried escaping rowan's grip, but it got tighter as i attempted to loosen it.

we then arrived in front of a rustic door, that was slightly opened.

the music that was once muted, now emitted from behind this door.

i looked over at rowan, and she nodded, tears brimming in her eyes.

i took a deep breath in, and widened the door.

my hand flew to my mouth, and tears ran down my face.

there stood peyton...

i had spent the entire day setting up to surprise sabrina.

our relationship had reached the point to where i knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

hearing that adorable giggle.

and that angelic voice.

staring into her crystal blue eyes, completely hypnotized.

and occasionally crying with her while watching marley and me.

corey had helped me set up the hallway, that she would walk down and find me.

standing there.

with a ring.

kneeled down.

and probably crying.

i was so nervous, i could pee my pants at any second.

i wasn't even this nervous when i asked her dad for her hand in marriage.

he had instantly accepted, and even helped me pick out the ring.

i had put rowan in charge of getting sabrina to the room.

how she would get her there, i had no idea.

i stood in the now ready room, pacing back and forth.

what if she said no?

what if she didn't like it?

how could i live with myself if she rejected me?

my hands were very clammy, and i tossed the ring box back and forth

soon i heard foot steps coming down the hallway.

i signaled corey with a thumbs up, so he could start recording.

i kneeled down, and corey clicked the play button to start playing our song.

my nose started burning, meaning that i was about to start tearing up.

it took a while before the door started opening.

in the door way stood sabrina, with her hand over her mouth, and rowan behind her sobbing.

third person

she walked into the room, hand still over her mouth

peyton opened his mouth to begin speaking, but when she reached him, she shushed him

only one word came out, and he knew that she had accepted

'yes yes YES'

her head was violently nodding yes, and she stuck out her hand so he could put on the ring

their lips connected, and they both cried of happiness

all of a sudden, rowan let out of screech and ran towards the newly engaged couple

corey also approached them, but in a calmer way

all there was were smiles in the room

and all it took was one word

before y'all come at me, i know this ship is dead. but i was going through youtube, and i found the evolution of lucaya video. that inspired me to go back into our library, and finish this. i know it's absolute trash, but i wanted to finish and edit it before i went to sleep :). we might post a few more before we complete this story, so look out!!
