"...Wait..." Tony stated under his breath somberly in denial as he'd shift his pupil side to side gently, deeply examining all of
Storm's fearful and shocked features and not taking them into mind whatsoever. "Y'naht tawlkin' about d'Outlandah' 'dat got
murdered, wright?" he questioned in a quiet, yet oddly normally pitched tone as a glimmer of fear gleamed in his slightly widened
hues and he'd feel his old, worn heart beginning to quicken it's pace from the sheer anxiety he had felt. Sweat trickled down the
hero's face like raindrops as his pupils had shrunk "...uhm..." he'd nervously dart them back and forth. "D'one 'dat was on d'news
some yea's ago" Tony added in the same tone for clarification with a raise of his brows as he'd continuously stare down at Storm
as if he was a little puppy begging for freedom from a cage. Now hearing and seeing this made Storm look and feel even more
nervous and scared, and even a little sad inside knowing that Tony would most likely fall into a slump again. However, he really
knew that there was no way out of this, especially since Tony would find out anyway if he were to ever go back to his niece. So,
after some hesitance and tenseness in the air, he'd finally respond in a sheepishly somber tone; "...yeah. He is..." he'd shift
his pupils down at the ground yet again as to not see Tony's face again and further break his heart even more. And maybe this was
the best for Storm as we pan up to see Tony look utterly shocked and devastated with an expression consisting of slightly widened
orbs, brows shifted upward lightly and a simple pursed line for a mouth. It was rather uncanny as you could practically see all the
gears slowly turning in his head with all his thoughts haunting them. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. He couldn't
believe that she went through the same pain as her father did for eight years now. And he had absolutely no idea about it. But now
realizing this, it had made him feel awful. The worst he had ever felt in this entire new year as the plummeting sensation in his
heart and his mind overtook him and made his expression look much more hopeless and sorrowful. "What...?" he spat out meekly
while his quiet words had sounded like it had been churned straight out of his shattered heart. Storm lowered himself even
more while Tony would tightly grab his stained shirt that had concealed the middle of his chest. "Y'naht serious..." he said on the
cusp of a whisper ridden with denial as Storm nervously glanced up at Tony. "I-I am..." he confirmed anxiously with traces of
sadness in his voice. Once hearing this, the brute would be fueled with even more despair, guilt and spitefulness towards himself.
Causing his posture to droop with his depressing expression before he'd shift his head back towards the alcohol racks and set
his forelegs up on the counter in a criss-cross position.
"Fuck 'dis" he stated lowly in a bitter fashion, catching Storm
completely off guard and making the sire's eyes widen as he'd watch Tony grab an entire bottle of vodka from the shelf with his
sparkly blue telekinesis that had little green clovers in them. Seeing this made Storm look completely panicked with alert ears
and even more widened orbs, especially as he'd see the magic unscrew the cap in mid-air and levitate closer to Tony.
"Wow,wow, wow wait!!! Hold on man don' do that!!" he said frantically in a rather loud tone, just to try and interrupt his friend
from chugging the whole thing down like it was water. And surprisingly, it had worked as Tony stared down at Storm with an
annoyed expression that had also been laced with a pitiful sorrow. "Whaddya want?! I'm busy tryin'a make myself happy
again an' f'get about what I just'eard" he spat spitefully, yet still had that pain in his voice as he'd protectively hide his vodka at
his side just in case. Storm's ears pinned back as he'd sweat a little and feel pretty on edge. "I didn't know what else to say,
okay?? I wasn't just going to lie to you, Tony!" he protested defensively in a frantic manner as he wasn't too sure what to say
first. Tony narrowed his eyes a little "well maybe y'should've, Storm" he grumbled with hurt in his voice and more of a scowl as
Storm silently stared at Tony with a hopeless, unsure expression. "Now if y'don't mind..." he'd levitate his opened vodka back over
towards his snout to prepare himself for a swig, however before he could even do this, Storm quickly took action through his
swift words. "Don't you wanna get better, Tony?" the brute paused, fully closing up his slightly parted jaws as he'd blankly
stare up at the wooded ceiling and still have the top of the bottle near his pursed lips still holding his smoking cigar. "'Dere is no
bettah' f'me, Storm" he answered empathetically under his breath before an eerie silence spawned in the midst of their
conversation and disturbed Storm to his very core. "I-" he stammered, now beginning to feel that nervousness set in yet
again. "But-...Vex!" he'd quickly hold up his paws in front of him, still in an anxious sweat. "He'd want you to get better, right?!" he
asked in a jittery tone as he'd try to grin, but it came out to look extremely fake and nervous. Thankfully for him though, Tony
wasn't looking at him whatsoever as he was still staring forward at nothing and seeming to be either spaced out or in deep
thought. But the dullness in his hues and the blank expression he was giving off while he remained completely silent did not tell
Storm anything good at all.
