Monopoly

Once the Lorax had disappeared, Quackity knocked on the Oncelers door again. "Please come out. I wanna talk."

The Onceler opened the door cautiously. He raised a perfect eyebrow. "I thought you didn't like tree killers."

Quackity leaned against the door frame. "That's all my brother. I don't mind tree killers. In fact, I love them." He accidentally lost his grip on the door frame and fell over.

Still inside the house, the Onceler seemed unamused. "Quackity, was it?" Quackity, who had picked himself back up, nodded slowly. The Onceler narrowed his eyes and pulled his face close to Quackitys. The taller man had such blue eyes, like diamonds. The next words were muttered into his ear in a threatening whisper. "You're not fooling anyone. I know you're just gonna try to get all buddy-buddy with me so you can convince me to leave." Before he knew what was happening, Quackity was grabbed by the shirt collar and thrown backwards. He hit the soft ground. "Don't bother coming back. I won't fall for your tricks." And then the Onceler was gone again.

Quackity stood up. He brushed off his pants and knocked on the door again. No one answered. He stuck his hands lazily in his pockets and strolled casually back to where the Lorax was hanging out with his animal friends. They were playing Monopoly. Quackity joined in. He ended up winning. He had always been good with money. He was super rich after all, ever since his vegan hamburger business had taken off. He was vegan, of course, or else his brother would've killed him.

When they finished, the Lorax pulled him into a group and discussed a plan. That night, they were going to try and get rid of the Onceler. Quackity was about to disagree, but stopped himself. How would he be able to get over the Onceler if he stayed? Leaving was the best option for his lovesick mind, and for protecting the forest. He smiled mischievously. "I'm in." He declared.
