no school today because its a snow day AND we don't have enough teachers in our school to teach in person or online so idk what they are going to do about that but whatever ;-;

uh sorry, I was going to work on this chapter more today but I got introduced into the magical world of hypixel skyblock. oops,

 it was the day before my flight to England, and I had everything packed and ready. looking at my childhood room, I couldn't help but feel a little sad.it was where I grew up, you know? looking at the dust-covered silhouettes of posters and tapestries on the walls, a ghost of my past that I will never get back again. maybe a facetime call to Tommy would lighten my mood.

"Hello? y/n what do you need" Tommy says, groggy.

"wait, did you just wake up from a nap?" I ask.

"uh, yeah," he says.  

"hey idiot I'm coming to England tomorrow," I say with a laugh.

"OH MY GOD! POG! I totally forgot that you were moving to my home country!" Tommy says with a smile.

"don't flatter yourself"

"ill flatter whatever I want. by the way, you have really nice eyes." he says with a laugh

"you're ridiculous."

"y/n, wake up! were going to be later for our flight!" my mom comes into my room at 5am, yelling. 

"mom, our flight is in three hours," I sigh into my pillow.

"We have to be there an hour early! the airport is an hour away!"

"Oh shit, you're right! ill be down as fast as I can!" I say, getting up.

"watch your language, young lady!"

i put on light makeup and a comfortable outfit. I grab my suitcase and run down the stairs so we can get in the car and speed to the airport, just to barely make our flight. 

an hour car ride later, and we arrive at the national airport. I've never really been on a plane before, so I'm a little nervous. 

"boarding will now start at terminal A-7. boarding will now start at terminal A-7" the announcer echoes through the airport. the people in front of my mom and I start boarding onto the plane, and I relax a little. the pilots in the cockpit are specially trained for this. they have probably been doing this for years on end. this is going to be fine. 

I tap the outside of the plane, for good luck, and my mom and I make our way to our seats. she let me get a window seat.

after about 20 minutes, the plane takes off. after most of the turbulence is over, I fall asleep to the low rumble of the plane.

i hear the announcer lady speak through the plane, "please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing. please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing."

I get up, and see that my mom is looking down at her hands. "is everything okay?" I ask, concerned.

"Yeah, we're just really far away from home, that's all," she says shakily. 

"awh, mom," I respond, "it's going to be okay. I'm sure that both of us are going to build a wonderful life here."

"you're right, thank you," she says with a smile.

hi everyone! i really hope that you like this chapter because I'm having a bit of writer's block, but I think that I will get through it somehow. i have an idea for the plot, but I'm just having a bit of trouble putting it into words, do you feel me?

anyways, I hope that all of you guys are doing good. if you're having trouble with anything feel free to message me, and I will most likely respond if I'm not too busy. I run on EST so I will respond to anything and everything as fast as I can.

the schoolz has been super stressful lately, and we just had a huge snowstorm last night, and we are snowed into our house, which in my opinion is kind of a problem lmao. it looks like Elsa sharted everywhere and just died right on the spot, ya feel? unless you live in Florida or somewhere warm and have never experienced cold in your life. if you've never touched snow before, that's kinda weird. anyway, I'm getting off-topic. I hope you have a wonderful day today or tomorrow. please stay safe and wear your mask :)))
