Three

The men began to scream and break everything in the house
"open the window, come on Pope!!" Jj said to his friend
"it doesn't open, it's glued!"
"let me and Kiara do it" I said, so the two of us began to scratch the window closure with a scissors
"you have to hurry!" said Jj, soon after one of the two men began pushing the door that John B and Jj kept closed.
"done!" I said, We all got out of the window as fast as we could
"in the chicken coop!" said John B, so we went in and leaned on the walls so we wouldn't be seen by the two men. Kiara and I caught up in the emotions and agitation we started crying, the boys seemed less scared but it wasn't true.
"please shut him up" said John B as the rooster screamed agitated inside the chicken coop, meanwhile one of the two men suspicious of the mess was approaching.
I started crying even more, until Jj grabbed the rooster he liked so much and broke his neck. When silence returned, the two men left, leaving us alone.
"it's all over now," Jj said, approaching and wrapping an arm around my shoulders, so I rested my head on his chest and tried to calm down.
The rest of the day was quieter, luckily, and I spent it at the beach with the boys doing surf, until John B had the idea to go to the Lighthouse.
"My dad's trying to send me a message." John B said to us
"if it helps you believe, John B" said Kiara
"he doesn't need a therapy session" I said looking at Kiara for what she had just told the boy
"don't know what happened, wake up every morning and ask yourself..." John B said
"for you what is the message?" asked Kiara to the boy
"Redfied, redfield lighthouse, my father's favorite place" he said
As soon as we arrived, we got out of the vehicle
"well you'll stay here to watch" John B said to Jj
"why me?" he said agitated
"Because there are dependent variables and independent variables, you are the independent variable" Pope said waving the blonde
"Shut up" Jj said
"ok stop, Jj, Pope I'll stay here with you lookout" I said to the two guys in front of me
"if something goes wrong and we split up I'll see you at Jj's house ok?" John B said to us
"okay, go" we said
"Hana keep an eye on them" Kiara said to me with a smile, then they moved away and entered the lighthouse.
"I want to get the scholarship, so I have to avoid-" start to talk Pope but
"shut up" said Jj to the boy, "Jj" I said looking bad at the boy for the tone...
After about ten minutes, when I was sitting in the van and the two guys were doing stupid, we heard the police sirens approaching.
"shit!" said Jj running towards the van, so closed the door, and, as soon as I also climbed Pope, JJ left for his house.
"what the fuck did those two do?" I said to the guys while Jj drove at home, "I don't know... Let's hope they escaped it." he said.
For the rest of the trip there was silence, which is Jj turned on the radio and we listened to the music until we got to his house.
"Your brother won't give you to disperse?" Jj asked me
"My parents are on a business trip, and Topper will almost certainly be with Sarah" I said sitting on a small crate next to Pope, It was about an hour when John B arrived to drive the van and honking his horn
"He's here" I said when I saw the boy, "let's go" Jj said
"we hope it's worth it" Pope said.
After we got in the van we went to Kiara's father's restaurant, but
"She says she won't come" Pope said as he left the club alone, Jj and I looked at the boy
"John B, What did you do?" Jj asked to his best friend
"ohhh, Let me do it" He said, then got out of the car and into the club. After about ten minutes he came out followed by the girl
"hi Kiara" I said to the girl, "hey Hana, still here?" she said
"to your misfortune" I said with a smile
We were traveling with an unknown destination, or rather, known only by John B...
"you mind if I just relax on this one? It's been a long day, and a lot of weird stuff is gone down" Jj said, I looked up at the sky
"I know I was wrong about the lighthouse and other things, but I'm sure my dad is trying to send me a message" John B said
"come on, let's go" John B said
"this place is frightful" said Kiara, "Hana stay close to me" said Kiara taking me under my arm
"you know how you're trying to remember a song and can't remember who sings it?" start to talk John B, "yeah",
"so, Redfield. This whole time, I thought it was a place, right? But it's a person" John B said, Illuminating the grave where the surname Redfield was engraved.
"come on, let's open the door" John B said, So the boys started pushing the door
"we didn't get here to give up, keep going" John B said but after a few minutes
"snake! Snake" Jj screamed, scaring everyone, immediately began barking at the snake
"Jj, shut up!" John B said, "you're gonna wake the dead, man" Pope said
"they're afraid of dogs" Jj said, Immediately John B got closer to the door but
"wait, John B. If there's one, there's probably dozens" said Jj Starting barking again
"Jj, stop!" I said to the boy, "you're scaring me" said Kiara
"John B, we're not gonna get in there, all right? It's not budging. We should probably just go" said Pope After so many attempts
"Hana or I can get through" Kiara said at random
"what?" We all said together confused
"You think you're gonna fit through the hole?" Asked John B surprised
"look, this is about your dad, and honestly, I really don't believe in it, but you deserve to know the truth" Kiara said to the boy in front of her
"Hana is also smaller than me" She said, so all the boys pointed their eyes at me
"I'll do it" I said, "I will follow you" Kiara said approaching me
"Can you help with it?" I said pointing to the branch that covered the hole
"remind me what we're looking for" I said to the boys
"you'll know when you see it" John B said
