Prologue

Hana Thornton, and, her best friend Sarah, are know as kook's princess.
Sarah is Hana's best friend since the middle school and she's also her brother, Topper, girlfriend, while Rafe, Sarah's brother, is Hana's ex boyfriend.

Hana just like Sarah, attends high school away from figure eight, in fact she stays out of the house all year except in summer, when she returns home to her brother Topper and his mother.

By the way: Hana live on an island divided into Figures Eight and Cut: Figure Eight is the place where live Kooks while the Cut is the place where live Pogues.

Kooks are the Rich people that live on the north of north Carolina's Outer banks. Known as the rich people off the Island. Also known as cocky, spoiled and selfish.

Pogues are The less rich people that live on the southside of Outerbanks. They are known as the laid back hippies who smoked too much weed.

Kooks hate Pogues, and Pogues hate Kooks.

Topper, Hana's twin, is a guy who likes to spend his parents' money, go on party and annoy the Pogues.
Hana is not like him, in fact she hates kooks and, indeed, finds the Pogues cool.
