A/N: The times that this took was like, more than how many I gender'd your mom. It's kinda clunky because half of it was written RIGHT after school and was in that whole e l o n g a t e everything. Anyhow, enjoy.

TW: Homophobia, bullying, (if there's anymore, don't be afraid to yell at me)

<Morgan's POV>

I slide into the seat next to Reid, who was leaning against the open window, his eyes half-open.

We'd just come back from an extremely stressful case, which had taken a special toll on Reid. The man had been targeting boys who looked like his son, whom he'd raped and killed five months earlier. The boys just happened to look almost exactly like Reid.

"Pretty Boy, are you still awake?" I ask as his head connects to the jet window. He jolts up.

"Uh yeah, yeah I'm fine." He says, smoothing down his shirt.

"You know, you can go to sleep, right?" I say, starting up my playlist.

He nodded and I leaned back. My eyes were partly closed but I saw him through my lashes. He kept shifting in his seat. I could see he was trying to get comfortable.

"Reid lay down."

"W-what?" He looked at me nervously. I opened my eyes and lazily turned my head to face him. He looked so wound up, with dark circles under his eyes and a pale tint to his skin.

"Just lay down, I don't mind," I said as I tried to close my eyes again. He continued to look confused, not making any moves to lay down. I gesture for him to and then he finally tries to lies down. He awkwardly finagled his long limbs onto the seat and laid down. I turn on my playlist and drifted off.

I'm almost asleep when I felt a small tap on my shoulder. "Um Derek," Reid says quietly. "Could I uh maybe rest my head on your shoulder?" He's fidgeting with his hands and not meeting my eyes, obvious signs of apprehension. "O-only because sleeping around other people increases dopamine levels in the brain and makes it easier for someone to drift into unconsciousness. If not, that's okay I could just..." He rambled, trailing off at the end.

"It's okay Pretty boy," I say. I can see his eyes light up through his hair and he mutters a thank you. He proceeds to shyly lay his head on my shoulder.

I wrap an arm around him and start my playlist for the third time. After a few minutes, I notice Reid fell asleep. Maybe 5 minutes after that, I finally drift off.

"Hey, Morgan. Morgan, wake up" I hear Emily say faintly. As my eyes open, she snaps her fingers in front of my face and I jolt awake. "Wake up Reid, will you?" She says as she walks away.

I feel Reid still nestled into my side and I try to shake him awake. His eyes start to open, but he just nestles closer to me. I sigh and shake him again, saying his name a few times. He groans, fully opens his eyes, and jumps back when he sees me.

"Wow, calm down kid," I say as he starts to profusely apologize. He quickly grabs his bags and rushes out of the jet. I follow suit, albeit much slower due to the fact I wasn't in a rush to get away from someone. I walk off the jet, I see JJ waiting for me at the end of the steps.

"Hey, is Spence okay?" She asks and I shrug my shoulders.

"He couldn't get to sleep on the jet, so I let him lay on my shoulder. But when I woke him up, he jumped back like I had the plague." I explain, half to JJ and half to myself, trying to work out why he was suddenly so scared of me.

"That's...weird." She says and I can tell by the look on her face that she's focused on figuring out as well.

"Maybe it's just the case?" I say as we walk to our cars.
