Morgan bursts into Garcia's tech "cave" (or as the professionals like to call it, "The Technical Operations Hub"). Garcia spun around and glared at him, laptop on her, well, lap.
"Didn't you ever hear of knocking?" She said, extremely irritated by this intrusion on her space. Even if it was by one of her favorite people in the world.
"Garcia, my love, this is too dire of a situation for knocking." He said theatrically, heavily flopping down on one of her chairs.
"Oh, what plagues you at..." Garcia matched his theatrics until she saw the time," "9:14 AM," She said flatly, clearly annoyed at Derek's bullshit this early in the morning.
"Sorry babydoll, but I've been having relationship troubles," Garcia's ears instantly perked up. She put her laptop down and rolled her chair over to him, putting her face in her hands and her elbows on the table.
"I want to know all about it,"
Garcia would soon regret those words as every week something new happened with Derek. He'd long ago told her he was bisexual, and with his movie-star looks, he'd been able to ring in twice the people he'd get if he was straight.
But one week was different, he plopped in his chair like normal, but he seemed more...sad. His usual dramatic behavior and banter were dropped and once Garcia slid over to the table they usually discussed relationships, she found out why.
"Garcia, I think I fell for Spencer." He sighed, looking down. Though he was still clearly embarrassed.
Garcia almost squealed. Only a few weeks before, Spencer had come into her abode and talked about his almost three-year-long crushing on Derek. She wanted to tell Derek right there and then that Reid was obsessed with him, but she decided that was his job.
It continued for almost a month, Reid nor Morgan making a move on the other. Though they still complained to Garcia about their terrible, terrible pining for each other.
She was fed up with their whining while remaining to do nothing about it, but she did formulate a plan.
Reid's POV
I walked to the gazebo that Morgan told me to meet him at. He was nervous...Morgan had asked him to meet with him alone at a park that he'd never even seen on a map before.
When I got there I saw Morgan sitting on one of the benches by it, scrolling through his phone. I walked over to him and sat down next to him.
"Hey Morgan," He said quietly.
"Hey Reid," He said, looking up at him. "So why'd you want to meet me here?"
Reid was confused because Morgan was the one that texted him... right?
"But you texted...me?" He asked, getting out his phone and pulling up Morgan's text.
"Oh that's... strange," Morgan said, exceedingly become more concerned at the thought of someone hacking into his phone.
Suddenly, we both got a text...from each other.
Your first clue is in the gazebo.
"Garcia," Derek said under his breath, scowling at our phones. He goes to call Garcia but then stops and I remember how she had a "hot date" with her boyfriend today.
"Well, I guess we'll play her little game," He said jokingly as he walked over to the gazebo, me following close behind.
There was a small white note on one seat of the gazebo. He opened it and I peered over his shoulder, reading it quickly.
