Collecting your bearings, you tug the bag around your shoulder with a chill. You needed to find a village, or any kind of civilization. You were wet, hungry, and tired. You wouldn't last long on your own.

Abandoning the broken boat, you make your way towards the edge of the forest. The sounds of all kinds of different life inside was apparent. Creature's songs rang through your ears, almost eerily. Feeling somewhat nervous, you started to make your way inside the dark forest. It began as a gloomy rainforest, but the further you got in... it's like the atmosphere is changing. The trees above you were densely packed and hid the light away from your eyes. The creature who dwelled stopped singing happy songs and many started to sound like cries of help to your ears
What is wrong with me..? It's just a forest..
You began to get discouraged by its negative energy. How could anyone stay in a place like this?
Nervously messing with the damp ends of your shirt, you hesitantly continued along your path. You were starting to believe that this wasn't a part of the Eflil Kingdom after all.
You heard a twig snap and your head jerked towards the sound, but nothing was there. Your heartbeat was pounding a million beats a second as you tried to calm yourself down.
You're literally crazy (Y/N)... why are you being so paranoid?
You took a deep breath, walking further. Even the sounds of your feet cracking the undergrowth beneath you was starting to throw you off guard. You could hear your own shallow breathing as you felt like you could hear voices from inside the woods.
"Hello?" You called out, clutching your chest uneasily. There was no reply. You felt like you were going insane out here.
Am I really hearing voices? Am I just making this up?
Suddenly, you could hear fast footsteps and before you could react you were knocked to the ground, a sharp claw at your neck as you thrashed around on the ground.
"Stop! Stop! Let me go!" You cried out, trying to pry the predator off you, as you violently took in his appearance.
Fiery red eyes that matched the red horns on his head. A blur of black hair could be seen in front of you as you continued to struggle against him.

"Humans aren't welcome here..." The low growl of the boy sent your adrenaline rushing as your hand quickly pulled out your sabre, but you hesitated too long, unable to make yourself injure him in any way.
The rascal boy quickly knocked it away from your hand with piercing eyes glaring into your soul.
"Please... I didn't mean to come here! I... I crash landed!" You begged as you could feel his sharp claw digging into your neck as you struggled to breath.
