"Kismet... told me that (Y/N) attacked her.."
"What?" Stellan quickly responded, his eyebrows furrowing.
"She said that (Y/N) cut her with her sabre after she just wanted to talk to her. She said that (Y/N) was using me... and that she's a thief..." Masaru went on, but his tone didn't change. He was in utter shock. He eyes bored into the knife in Stellan's hands.
"Well you didn't believe her, right?" Stellan said back, looking for an answer from the older boy and feeling hurt when he didn't answer. "Right?" He repeated, but Masaru just stared at the knife.
"I'm sorry..." Masaru mutters, feeling overwhelmed before Stellan moved towards him.
Stellan hits Masaru on the shoulder with anger. "Well now you need to find her! Who knows what danger she could be in right now... you... you idiot!" He seethed in anger.
Masaru finally awoke from his trance as he looked at the boy. "I will find her. I promise." He swallowed back his sadness and put on a look of determination. He hugged the boy tightly. "I might not be back for a long while. I'll come visit, I promise." Masaru said, little tears brimming his eyes. "Tell Sera that I'll see her later.. okay?"
Stellan nodded, little tears shedding from his eyes as well. "Please find her."
Masaru let go of him as he rushed back into servant house. He gathered some of his things and attached his katana back to his side.
I'll find you (Y/N).

.Morning was starting to break and clouds were rolling in. You flickered your eyes open and winced at the darkness of the sky. Your body was stiff from the uncomfortable sleeping position you were forced to take. You slowly pulled yourself up, dusting off the blanket before tugging it back into your bag.
You sighed, pulling out the map to figure out what your next move is. You tried your best not to think about Masaru or anything from here at all. You were just trying to get home... that's all.
You exited the ally with an empty stomach and a tired body. You walked for a long while, finally exiting the capital and moving onto a long walk through sparse forest.
Finally out of that stupid, giant capital. Who even has a capital that citizens can't all go into?
You were taking out your anger from the previous day on your walk. You kicked rocks under your feet and cursed at branches that got in your way.
What is wrong with me anyways? Leaving Masaru like that... he doesn't know anything!
You grumbled to yourself before checking your map again.
I'm so close to the border already?
You were almost nervous to see how you would pass through there.
You sighed, only left to your thoughts as you walked.
I shouldn't have slapped him... He already gets tormented enough by the Empress. He doesn't need my scar to carry either..
You suddenly felt guilt weigh down in your soul as your walking slowed.
Masaru will be stuck there forever... under the manipulation of that evil Empress and murdering people to survive. How could I leave him there?
Tears suddenly pricked your eyes, and you tried to wipe them away with your hands.
I'm a terrible person! I need to go back and force him to listen! I'm all he has left!
