•CHAPTER TWO•

Immediately the smell of Italian coffee hits my nose as I make my way into the coffee shop.

I stand in line with a woman in front of me. She had on a tank top and a matching maxi skirt.

Damn, she's got a fat ass. I thought to myself, looking over her body, smirking before lightly taping her shoulder.

She turns around on her heels, making my smirk grow wider. Lo and behold, there she was, the first woman to reject me.

"Hey, it's you, the lonely guy at the bar," she says with a brow raised.

"Hey it's the woman who can't accept a free drink," I countered, making her roll her eyes and scoff.

"Yeah so that you could get something out of it," she mumbles, moving forward in the queue.

"Come on, I told you it was just out of the kindness of my heart," I said doing the same.

"Yeah right," she scoffs before going to the waiting counter attendant.

"Hi Katie, can I get my usual please," she says to the attendant.

"Right away, that will be twelve dollars and fifteen cents." she says punching in her order.

As she digs into her purse for her money, I quickly swipe my card, paying for her stuff.

Once she realises what I had done she turns to me, giving me the most beautiful smile, before going to wait for her order.

"Morning sir, I'm Katherine, what can I get you today?" The attendant asks with a cheeky smile.

"Can I get a black coffee with two sugars," I said

"Great, that will be three dollars," she says.

I swipe my card, leaving a twenty dollar bill in the tip jar before getting my receipt.

"Thank you so much," she says before I turn to leave, giving her a quick nod.

"Why'd you do that?" she asks me as I make my way to where she was waiting on her order.

"Wow, no thank you," I said putting my hand over my heart as if hurt, making her giggle, rolling her big brown eyes.

"Thank you, so why'd you do that?" She asks folding her arms.

"Because, I'm still trying to get into your pants, you know with the free drinks," I said winking at her with a smirk.

"Well, mission failed," she says patting my chest before going to get her coffee and two muffins before winking at me and leaving the store.

Fuck, I still didn't get her name. I quickly grab my drink, quickly following after her.

"Wait!" I said catching up to her as she was about to get into her car.
