Cassandra hear the ceremonial song as her mind recollected all the recent events that led to this glorious momment for her.
Some hours before
Zhan tiri was trapped
She had the princess at her mercy
Zhan tiri tried to take the Moonstone away
But she got away first.
"Bold of you to believe I will not keep an eye of my back oh great fearfully Zhan tiri"she said smirking at the demon.
The demon growled at her "say all you want dear but as I say before you and I are not that different .Eventually you will fall and I'll made sure to witness it firsthand"
"I don't think so Zhan..
"Raps how are you doing?"
Rapunzel struggled and Cass hearing it unclashed her hands gracefully at her and let her go.Approaching her a bit menancily she whisper to her ear "I want my destiny Rapunzel and the only way to it is defeating her so truce?" She said smirking a bit trying to convince the princess.She fearfully take her hand and said "As long as you don't do the same to Corona as she planned to do"
"Of course I live here too you know "she said playfully as Rapunzel give her a shy smile .She still trusted Cassandra but she didn't knew exactly where to drawn the line with her.
Both of them stood together after so long the demon looking at them with fire eyes filled with hatred but also a bit of cookiness.
"Hu and what are you gonna do Cassandra the Sundrop is weak now and the Moonstone is reaching is peak "
Rapunzel crumbled down as the stone makes it's way outside her body.
"Keep it Raps.For now"
Zhan tiri just look at them tiredly
"It's time for you to fall"said Cass as she
Take the sundrop from Raps carefully .She stumble on her feet and fall down once again.
Cass reached out her hand
She looked at her with a shadow of a smile
"Don't get too excited.Temporary truce remember"she said icing her features.
"Right.What's the plan"
"Take her down .We just need to crush these together ..I think
"Hum .You are remembering what she told us"
"Yeah .Second plan includes Varian so we better get this right"
"Right,because you don't wanna hurt him"
"How did you-"
"He just ramble about it sometimes. I just heard.Please don't tell him"
"Whatever Raps.You still can use that hair?"
"Yes"
"Them let's bring it on"
Zhan tiri put on a fight as they struggle to trap her with the brown large strands of hair.
It wasn't working until Rapunzel realized something.
"Got an idea Raps.."
"My hair "
"Yes.sorry in advance"
"Don't worry Cass"
They prepare the attack once last time and finally get her trapped ith the stones hand in hand as long her was cut into soft shoulder length hair.
Blinding light surround everyone for a milisecond until one princess was waken up by her chameleon friend
"-oh .So that's how it feels"she said laughing easily with an unsuspected mind .
"Cass we did it..CASS"
She hear herself shout alongside a younger voice form the stairs near them.
The princess kneel down looking sorrowly to her friend who she thought dead ...until she hear a big fit of coughs.
"CASS" she said happily about to hug her when she took a second glance.
She was death pale and seem little bruises could be seen along with the sounds of coughing.
She saw Varian reaching them in her shock and give him a nod and smiled sadly as he kneeled beside her now.
Eugene reached out and hug her feeling relief -short lived by what he sees then and gives her a comforting hug.
After checking her and trying not to panic at her state Varian says
"I can't tell much but she might make it
She is trong she will make it-she have to"he looked at her helplessly.
"I'm gonna be alright-Varian just some -a cought -sickness. That's all"she sais voice hoarse and week.
And after a lot of insistence she is taken to the medic .
She spend her solitary time thinking of her next step.She didn't thought it would have this outcome but she would dealt with it.Tomorrow was a good day to take over the kingdom,for now she would sleep"
