how does one define love?
is it habit?
the bond you have with your family, that's love, isn't it?

what if it wasn't?
then what would love be?

when you think of love, you probably think of your family, closest friends, maybe even a lover.

but think, if you didn't know what people defined as love,

would you feel it?

you see, there's different types of love.
platonic, which you probably feel with your friends.
romantic, which you feel with a lover, maybe someone you're in love with.

but can you really say you've felt that?

sure, people say i love you.
but did you feel the love?
maybe someone has never said they love you.
i love you.

did you feel the love in those words?
no, you probably didn't .
there's a reason for that.

i believe you don't feel love unless you really know that person, and they really know you.

say you do feel love.

how does it feel?

does it feel nice?
like a type of comfort that cheers you up?
does it feel forced?
like they don't truly love you?
does it hurt?
like an aching pain, quite literally hurting your heart.

heartbreak hurts, i guess.
if you've really felt it.
did someone you really love hurt you?
rejection?
they don't love you back
breaking up?
they don't love you anymore
leaving?
they love someone else
avoiding?
they never loved you
but did you really love them?

or did you just like the attention they gave?

did you just like the little things they did for you?
did they do nothing, and you were just attached?

if you really love someone what do you feel towards that person?

do your eyes light up when you look at them?
is there comfort in them?
do you enjoy their company?

well, you could enjoy their company and not love them. some peoples aura is nice, i guess.

maybe i'm being biased because i don't believe i've ever felt romantic love, and in all honesty i don't think i want it.

but maybe i have a point.
be honest with yourself.
have you been in love? felt love? maybe even seen someone in love?

do you just believe in love because you grew up with parents, people, telling you they love you.

do they know you enough to love you though?
do you know anyone enough to say you love them, or maybe to return their love?

the word love is so misused.

people throw it around like it doesn't mean anything.
love is one of the strongest words, along with hate.

'she said she loves him, though they just met a week ago'
do you see the problem in that?

if you don't, you're one of the people who misuse the word.

if you're educated in feelings and saw something not right in that, it was the fact that it was said too soon, right?

hell, you don't even need to be educated in feelings to see that.

a week is not long enough to say you're in love with someone.

if it were platonically, i see that. you can really like someone as a friend in a short amount of time.

but romantically, that should take months.
i, as you could probably tell, don't believe in love at first sight.

how can you look at someone without even knowing their name, say you love them?

sure, it happens in movies, but that causes people to believe it. movies are made for entertainment, not education.

that's what doing research and watching documentaries are for.

what if love wasn't real?
how would you define what you feel for people?
what you strongly feel for people?

when you look up the definition of love, it says a deep feeling for someone.
hate is also a deep feeling for someone.
shouldn't it say a deep positive feeling for someone?

would you say love is a good or a bad thing?

yes there's pros and cons of love, but is there more positives or negatives?
let's see, for pros theres comfort, happiness, that feeling you get; however you describe it.
for cons; pain if the feeling is not returned, love.

in the end, love is just made up of feelings making a feeling itself.

so why do people still misuse the word?
instead of saying you love someone, why can't they say they find comfort in them or they make the other happy.

do you still believe you've felt love?

you should.

let me ask again,

how does one define love?
