Game night on the Argo II

2- A windy evening

The Seven of them stumbled from side to side, clutching on objects as they tried to climb their way to the top deck.

"Hurry up Cupcakes!" Coach cried from above.

" What the Hades? More Anemoi?" Jason complained.
"Venti," Piper corrected.
"Whatever"

"For the love of the Gods, Seaweed Brain. You just had to," Annabeth muttered
"What?! What did I do?" Percy whined
"You jinxed us, TWICE!" Annabeth shouted over the music, still blaring is the background.

Jason bolted into the air like a blonde Superman to battle the Venti in the air. It was harder to control the winds up there but he managed.

Frank changed himself into a giant eagle to help Jason.

Coach shouted and swung his bat around aimlessly.

Leo ran to the cannons.

Hazel, Piper and Annabeth stabbed and jabbed at any of the low flying Venti.

Festus blowing fire at as many as he could.

There were about fifteen in the sky and seventeen attacking the sides.

Piper managed to charmspeak to a few of the weaker ones, telling them that they didn't really want to be there and that they should leave.

Storm clouds were now over them and it was raining.

Hard.

It sucked for everyone, but Percy used it to his advantage.

Think , think , think! Percy thought. This was his natural element, how could he harness his powers.

"Get your butt over here Percy!" he heard some yell.

Percy didn't think he could harness the entire storm, instead he concentrated, willing the rain to part around his friends.

Annabeth looked towards Percy, a silent thanks.

What else could he do? He couldn't just wait.

A thought crossed his mind.

He couldn't, Could he?

Percy put all his concentration forward, still doing his best to keep his friends dry. He closed his eyes, tilting his head to the sky, feeling the rain on his face. His feet lifted off the ground. He opened his eyes. A vortex of water was swirling around Percy's legs lifting him up.

Percy uncapped Riptide, slicing through a Ventus. Percy controlled the vortex to send him towards Jason who was now being swarmed. Frank was now handling the Venti closer to the ship.

Percy lunged, killing a Ventus that was about to give Jason a disastrous blow.

Jason and Percy were battling the remaining six Venti. They both were able to use the storm to their advantage.

Working together, the two of them were able to defeat the remaining Venti fairly quickly.

Percy risked a glance to the ground. Annabeth and Piper were now back to back, battling steadily. Piper used her charmspeak, dazing the Venti long enough for them to kill.

Hazel had made her way to Leo and Coach Hedge.

Frank had descended towards them too. Apparently a few of the Venti learned that if they got close enough, the ballista couldn't hit them.

The storm slowed a little and Jason and Percy started descending toward the deck.

"Hey Venti" Piper shouted to the six Venti in front of them "don't these swords seem pleasant?" They weren't convinced.

Annabeth and Percy exchanged a long stare.
Jason understood too.

"Ok fine you can have us, just come slowly so you don't startle us like sheep." Annabeth said.

The Venti slowly glided towards Piper and Annabeth. Jason and Percy quietly floating down behind them. The Venti only meters away from the girls. Jason and Percy simultaneously charged the distracted Venti. They managed to kill the first half of them quickly, without a fight. The other three spun around to see the disruption. Annabeth and Piper took the opportunity to stab them.

The other Demi-Gods had just finished sending the Venti around them to Tartarus.

Hazel has already ran inside too the bathroom.
That plus her original nausea was not good for anything.

Thunderstruck had finished playing and somehow was put on repeat. So it had played a few more times.

"Please, please, shut off that music." Piper begged.

"Fine" Leo surrendered "but just so you know, I thought that was awesome! It was like we were in a real life fight scene for a movie or something!"

"We were in a real life fight scene" Frank grumbled.

Percy just stared at Leo for a moment looking slightly amused.

Leo smirked "see, Jackson knows what I'm talking about"

"Okay fine, I'll admit, I thought that too. It was kinda awesome ."

"Well..... except for the potential death threat I thought it was cool too," Jason confessed "And excellent song choice for the fight dude. I mean Thunderstruck, and then the storm! It was terrible for karaoke but great background music."

"Boys," Piper rolled her eyes and walked inside to change her clothes.

"Thanks for trying to keep the rain away Waterboy. It may not have done much for our clothes but at least we could see" Leo said as he went inside to change too.

Annabeth kissed him on Percy on his forehead before joining the others.

Jason said his thanks before going in as well.
