Chapter II

Tomorrow arrived. Louis didn't want to wake up. Louis didn't want to do anything, actually.

He looked into the clock on his bedside table: 6 A.M.

"Ughhh, why do you wake up so early?!" He growled to himself.

"I'm sorry, Louis, I'm just excited!" Artemis responded, thinking Louis had growled at him.

"Seriously, Artemis?!" Louis almost shouted. "I'M SORRY!" Artemis whined.

"I'm going to keep sleeping till 9 A.M, and I don't want to hear anything from you! Got it?!" Louis commanded.

"Okay..." Artemis sighed.

A night-black wolf was standing in front of Louis. It wasn't looking at him. They were standing in the woods. Suddenly the wolf looked at him, and their gazes met. It had emerald green eyes. They were comforting and intimidating at the same time. "Louis...Louis...Louis?"

"Louis, wake up!" Niall whispered-yelled at Louis. "What what??" Louis woke up confused. "Louis! You overslept! It's 9:30 A.M. Harry will be here in an hour!" Niall alerted him. "WHAT??!!" Louis shouted, standing up, hating being late. "YESSSS," Artemis cheered as well. "Shut it!" Louis growled roughly at Artemis.

Louis rushed sneakily downstairs to have breakfast. "Hello Mother, Father." He said while bowing.

"Louis, Harry will be here in less than an hour! Why aren't you getting ready?! You plan to look like this?!" His mother asked angrily.

"Of course not, Mother, I'm sorry," Louis said, bowing again.

His mother nodded, and he continued with his rushed breakfast. Afterward, he went back upstairs to take a bath and dress himself up. When he had finished his morning routine, he went through his to-do list to see if he had done everything. As usual, he had. Next, he checked the time on his phone. 10 A.M. He sighed in boredom and then called Niall.

"Yes, my Diamond?" Niall said as he closed the door.

"Thank goddess Niall! I'm dying here! I don't know what's gotten into me, but I'm scared and confused and nervous!" Louis whimpered to Niall.

"Louis, you don't look good; why don't you lay down for a second?" Niall indicated the sofa in his room. Louis collapsed on the couch.

"Would you like me to bring you some tea?" Louis nodded and thanked him. After he was gone, Artemis immediately talked to Louis.

"Admit it; you want to meet him too!" Louis rolled his eyes, trying to ignore his inner wolf.

"No, I'm just worried about... the trip. You know very well that I don't like traveling in carriages for long periods!" Artemis laughed at the lie. Indeed he knew Louis, and he knew that wasn't what was bothering him.

"Come on, Lou, I know you. You want to meet him too, don't ya?" Louis started growling.

"Artemis, speak properly; otherwise, I won't understand you." He answered, very annoyed, trying to avoid the wolf's question.

"You're no fun." Artemis sighed and went back to be quiet. "Finally," Louis sighed with relief.

"It's time," Niall said while putting his teacup down and glancing at the clock.

"Already?" Louis said, standing up. "Indeed, it's finally time!" Artemis said, giggling.

"My Diamond, I'm here to escort you to your majesty," A guard said, entering the room.

"Thank you," Louis answered while quickly getting out of the room. The guards took them down to the 1st floor, the guest lounge. Louis and Niall waited there while the guard announced their arrival.
