Y/N pov

I was shot in the chest this was the only time I didn't have my vest on because I thought I would be really safe at this school. I fell to the floor and it felt like I stopped breathing. I felt my fingers and toes tingling then they went numb I soon heard faded screams and saw a figure in front of me but then everything went black.

Hunters pov

I heard someone call Y/N we both turned around and we heard a gun go off and saw Y/N get kinda pushed back from the bullet. WAIT THE BULLET! SHE GOT SHOT. What do I do? Does she have her vest on? Please tell me she has her vest on... I ran up to her trying not to cry I tried to talk to her but no response. Do I call pops? Yeah im going to call pops I thought.

On the phone with pops

"Pops come to the school Y/N got shot and I don't think she has her vest on."

"WHAT SHE GOT SHOT?! Im on my way with guards."

"Hurry im worried for her."

Joe Biden pov

I was going to the kitchen to get some ice cream and I got a call from little hunter. I rushed to their school with guards. We arrived at the school and we rushed to where all the commotion was and saw Y/N laying on the floor. One of the guards went to pick her up we took her to the hospital as fast as we could. Once we got there we called for help and when they took her in the nurses told us that we couldn't go in so we all stayed in a little room for more privacy. It felt like HOURS and a nurse finally came out and told us that we could go in and see her but she is still unconscious because she just went through surgery.

Hunters pov

A nurse finally said that we could go see her but she just got out of surgery. Me and pops went in and left the guards to wait outside at the door. My life ended when I saw my princess just laying there lifeless. We just sat there waiting for her to wake up. I got up and sat down in a chair next to her bed holding her hand. I put my head on her hand still having my hand interlocked with hers. I didn't notice I fell asleep when I felt someone started to play with my hair softly. I woke up slowly and saw it was my princess! She has woken up!!

"Oh my gosh princess! Im so glad your okay. How you feel?"

"My chest still hurts. Other than that it hurts to talk and my head is spinning. But im fine thanks for wondering." She said trying to talk since she told me her voice hurts.

"Okay just lay back I'll get you your phone and you can just go on it for a little while." I told her.

"Yes Y/N I think its best if you rest a little and take your mind off of what just happened." Pops agreed with me.

"Okay thanks for being here with me guys."

"Wait but who shot me?" She added to what she just said.
