It had been almost a week since burrito night, and we had all agreed to do it again with everyone next time since it was so much fun. I had set up my new phone that night after dinner and made a quick post, promising to come back to YouTube soon. The response was incredible. My fans were so excited, and a lot of them were disappointed for me. It was true that they all wanted to know what I looked like, but I saw them as a big family and a lot of them had commented that it should've been done on my terms. The support gave me an even bigger push to return to what I loved.
Since then I had been really working on myself. I knew I wasn't going to be completely happy with everything in a matter of days, but even this last week had dramatically changed my perspective on myself. George had taken me out shopping and we had completely renovated my room. I had set up a new recording area in the corner so when I eventually did go back to YouTube I was really ready.
I had gotten back into contact with my best friend Lily from Australia, and my mum and I had talked everyday. I couldn't believe how supportive my mum was. Raising me as a single mum, she was always extremely protective, and always was the first to make sure my expectations weren't too high as she didn't want me to be disappointed. But over the years that had changed as she watched my success. She was now always pushing me to go further, do more, see more and experience the world. She was always first to watch my videos and messaging me telling me how thoughtful or funny they were. She was my biggest fan. And boy oh boy did she have some things to say about Mitch. She never liked him, and she was quick to throw out an 'I told you so'. I wasn't mad though, deep down I always knew she was right.
