It had been a week since I had posted my "I GUESS THIS IS ME" video and the reception was incredible. Old fans loved that I had straight up come out and embraced it, new fans had also been amazing, and the bee family had grown so much. In the first two days all the boys, Sidemen, all the girls and even other YouTubers I didn't know had shared on their Instagram and Twitter to go and watch my video. Even some small news accounts like LadBible and KeamStar had written and made videos about me. By the end of the week my account had hit 6 million subscribers, and I was a wreck. I had screamed and danced around with George and Alex, popping bottles of champagne and singing to loud music until we were all passed out on the lounge room floor, all of us waking up with sore backs the next day.
I hadn't spoken to Will all week. I could still feel his lips against my skin though, and I felt like an addict wanting more, but I was too proud to message him first. He had been supportive though, he had also shared my video, like I had done all of theirs, and all of our videos had respectively racked up millions of views, giving us all a delicious pay day.
Tonight Harry, Stephan, Becky, George and Alex had decided we should have a party to celebrate my success, as well as send out a big fuck you to Mitch through the universe. We had set up all the lights in the house, covering the kitchen bench in red cups, shot glasses, and so much alcohol I was convinced the nearest hospital was going to get an influx of alcohol related injured twenty-something year olds soon.
I quickly finished getting ready, putting on a baby pink mini dress with long sleeves, letting my hair curl naturally and putting on some basic makeup, before taking a photo and leaving it to post later. I was still undecided on showing my face permanently. The video had felt so freeing, so maybe. Instagram was another story though.
I walked out of the bathroom, and into the living room where my two best boys where finished setting up, putting some music on before turning to me.
"Jesus fucking Christ can you not! Now I gotta go change," Alex huffed, pulling at his plain white tshirt.
"No no Al you look very handsome!" I replied, running over and giving him a cuddle.
"Yeah I feel bad about myself now," George said with an unimpressed look.
"You're both looking lovely, don't be ridiculous!" I huffed, wrapping an arm around both their waists. "Seriously though, thank you both for everything. You really do mean the world to me," I smiled at both of them.
After getting over the sloppiness of emotions, we started drinking as people started arriving. All of the sidemen arrived together with Lux and Freezy in tow, having all drank together beforehand. Talia, Freya, Gee and Becky also came together, having done the same thing.
"Fucking hell Izzy, I think I'm blind!" Tobi gasped, faking not being able to see after looking for me.
"Rah my girl!" JJ had yelled, causing me to laugh.
All the boys and girls had spent the last ten minutes complimenting each other, and I was so happy to be a part of a group that was so uplifting, so accepting and always made everyone feel welcome.
"You may look smoking hot but one bad word about football and I will end you," Harry joked, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we went to get drinks. I laughed and playfully slapped his chest, knowing the compliment was in a friendly way. "Will is gonna love that dress," he mumbled under his breath so only we could hear.
"Wh- he's not- we aren't- for fuck sake," I mumbled. "George told you?"
"Yeah he did," he laughed loudly. "You two are messed up. I swear it seems like you are going to kill each other, then you're friends, then you hate each other again, and then he's attacking your tit in the hallway, what the fuck it going on?!" He said with tears in his eyes as he tried not to laugh.
