"No way! I am not putting The Conjuring on to help you get over your fears! You're just going to end up crying and then you won't be able to sleep!"
America knew he would get his way if he tried hard enough. after living with Iggy for all those years America knew how he acted.
"Aw, please? I really want to watch it with you!" America gave England the puppy dog eyes.
"Ah! Don't look at me like that! I can't stand the puppy eyes!"
Got him. he'll give in any minute now. Just a little more convincing!
" And besides, I'll be less scared if you're here!"
Crap! That sounded like I have a crush on him! America mentally slapped himself in the face. however, he tried to look completely innocent so he could convince England to turn the Conjuring on. he was too scared to watch it alone.

"Ugh, fine! But you can't come crying to me when you get scared!"
America rolled his eyes and teasingly stuck his tongue out as England inserted the DVD.
About five seconds later:
"ENGLAND HELP I'M SCARED!"
"America shut up! This isn't even the movie! It's a trailer for Frozen!"
"Then what was that hideously deformed monster?"
"You mean Olaf?"
"Uh... I thought it was a monster..."
"Maybe we shouldn't watch this-"
"No! I'll be fine, just you watch!"

🇬🇧sorry frozen fans wasn't trying to make Olaf look bad just trying to show how scared of horror movies America is! With that apology out of the way, on with the story!🇬🇧

By the end of the film America was softly whimpering into a pillow. In all honesty England felt pretty guilty for allowing him to watch it.
England gently tapped Americas shoulder. "America? Are you all right?"
"Holy crap..... So scary...... *sob*"
Dammit! I knew we shouldn't have watched that movie! England gently put his arm around America in an (extremely awkward!:) attempt to calm him down. "Hey, don't be scared, it's just a movie."
The American kept softly sobbing. England carefully pulled America into a light hug, hoping to comfort him. America immediately grabbed his shirt and shoved his tear-stained face into England's chest. 'I seriously hope France never finds out about this,' England thought hugging America.
Eventually America calmed down enough to the point where England could let go. England tried to make himself pull away from the hug, but he could not. he just wanted to sit there hugging the younger nation. however, he managed to pull away and said, "alright, how about we go to bed?"
America nodded, still holding on to the Brit. helping America up, England took him upstairs and into his room. he tucked America in (man, he felt like he did back when America was a colony!) Then turned the lights off and left the room. He went to bed with a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"I wonder if Americas going to be okay in there all alone in an unfamiliar place. I mean, he might want someone with him in case he has a nightmare. wait, what am I thinking? Mental punch in the head! He'll be fine! Why am I so worried? And with that England fell asleep, still with that weird feeling in the pit of his stomach.
