Chapter 12

~third person POV~

It's been a month since Iwaizumi asked [y/n] that question. And she's thought about it every single day

Do I like oikawa? That thought repeated in her head one last time as she approached the classroom.

"Good morning Iwaizumi and oikawa" she greeted them. Iwaizumi nodded back and oikawa responded with the usual "morning princess"

It made her blush every time and it made Iwaizumi angry for some reason, but would get mad when oikawa flirted with anyone.

"Guess what guys?" Oikawa started

"Three days until your birthday" said [y/n] and Iwaizumi in a monotone voice in sync.

(I know it's not July 20th, his birthday btw, but that's where the story takes place soooo... and also summer break starts today in this book)

"Aw how did you guys know?"

"Because you've been doing this everyday for the two weeks" [y/n] complained

"Yea and it's annoying" Iwaizumi agreed

"Jeez I'm just excited that's all"

~three days later~

Oikawa was late too school. [y/n] Walked in and seen only Iwaizumi seated.

"I'm guessing he probably got held up by fans telling him happy birthday?" She questioned out loud to Iwaizumi.

"Yep and also inviting everyone to his house for a party" he confirmed

"Welp"

Oikawa then busted in the room singing happy birthday to himself.

"🎶HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO-"

"OIKAWA!!!" The teacher yelled. Then all the students busted out into laughter.

"I have the perfect present for you, it's extra work over summer break if you don't shut it and SIT. DOWN!" The teacher yelled. "And that goes for all you laughing if you keep it up."

Her say that sentence made the whole class go silent.

Coach said no practice for everyone as a present for oikawa. That gave more time to plan his party. Of course it wasn't a surprise party cause his nosy ass would figure it out.

[y/n] and Iwaizumi went shopping together to pick out a present for oikawa.

"I kinda feel bad for him, he's gonna have to plan his party by himself" [y/n] said.

"Ah he'll be fine, we're going to get him a present, his ass better be thankful" Iwaizumi said.

"Even though we're doing this for him, at least we get to spend time together" the female commented

The boy was obviously flustered by her comment but he couldn't show it.

"Hey I thought you said you like shittykawa?"

"First of all I didn't give you an answer, I said I don't know"

"But your face said it all"
