Chapter 11

~Third person POV~

[y/n] was the first to wake up and when she realized what position she was in with the Burnett she couldn't help but blush.

They were laying side by side. She held his head to her chest as he hugged her waist. Both of their legs were intertwined with each other. [y/n] woke up quite early so she decided to stay there until it was time to get ready for school.

She scrolled through (social media app) until it was time.

"Good morning princess" he started sensing she was awake.

"Good morning Tōru" she responded in a monotone voice

"A-are you still mad at me" he asked in a whiny voice.

"Why the hell wouldn't I be" she said peeling away from him to get out the bed.

"You clearly overworked yourself after being not asked to, continuously hurting your body, I'm disappointed in you Tōru... why did you do it?"

"I-I was mad that I'm still not able to beat ushijima, i just lost my mind and I-I wasn't thinking when I snapped at you and when I realized what I did, I felt guilty I wanted to apologize but you ignored and after hearing how you were hurt before I was afraid that I hurt you again."

The female stared into his eyes and could see that he was truly sorry. And so did she.

She climbed back onto the bed and mimicked his sitting position. Sitting (Crisscross applesauce😂) she stared at the male as he let his head fall low. She lifted his head by his chin.

She took her other hand and let her fingertip graze across his soft skin. He melted into her touch as if it calmed him down.

"Tōru, I'm fine, and just because you loose a game does not mean your life is over you always have another chance to play"

He looked into her eyes almost crying

"But still Your a dumbass for hurting yourself, next time I'll let Iwaizumi handle you!" She said hitting him in the head.

"Ouch! okay I won't do it again!" He said rubbing the spot she hit.

"Now I need to get ready for school" she said getting up.

"Me too" oikawa said standing up.

"Hell no!" She shouted pushing him back on the bed.

"You stay here and rest I tell the teacher your sick and bring the school work you missed"

"Aw come on, practice starts today."

"you.need.to.rest"

"Fine" he plopped back down and pulled the cover back over him. "Hmph"

"Oh quit it you big baby, you are the most Childish person I have met"

The female got ready for school by taking a shower and making breakfast.

She came back upstairs to see oikawa laying in her bed sleeping.

I knew his ass was tired

Even thought she didn't want to wake him up, he needed to eat. She sat his plate on the nightstand and knelt beside the bed and ran her fingers through his hair

"Tōru. Wake up" she gently called.

He slowly opened his eyes to see the beautiful female before him. "Sit up and eat, I'm pretty sure it's been a while since you had a decent meal."

He slowly sat up and accepted the meal. "Thank you"

"Mhm. Now I'll be back after practice. Do not leave this house, and stay hydrated. And please take a shower, you stink"

"Hey!"

"Be good oikawa" she lastly said walking out her room to head downstairs.

"Bye have a good day princess!" He yelled back

The female couldn't help but blush at the nickname.

"Where's shittykawa?" Iwaizumi asked

"He's at my house" [y/n] answered sitting in her seat.

"What the hell is he doing there?"

"I'm making him rest, we talked things over and now we're good"

"Well hopefully you knocked some since into him"

"I told him if he doesn't listen then I'll let you take care of him"

"I'd be glad to" he chuckled

They both laughed together until the teach scolded them.

After class She collected oikawa's homework and headed to the club room to change for practice. She headed into the gym and did her usual manager tasks.

"Um here's my form and where's oikawa?"

"Thanks Kindaichi, he's taking another rest day, it turns out he was having a private practice when coach said not to" she answered.

"Oh I see, are you two back to talking now?"

She laughed at his question wondering why he would ask something like that.

"Yes we're good now, but don't worry about us go warm up now"

"Right"

"Hey l/n, thanks for helping oikawa, I don't know what that kid would do without out" coach said

"I guess I could say the same"

"Anyways, got those forms?"

"Ah yes sir"

"Good job, please set them on my desk"

~walking home with Iwaizumi~

[y/n] was scrolling through her phone while iwaizumi walked beside her with his hands in his pockets.

"I have a question for you l/n" he said.

"Ask away" you said putting your phone away in your pocket giving him your undivided attention.

"So I've been watching you and oikawa recently and y'all seem to have been getting closer."

"Yes, and?"

"And I there's no pressure to this question, I just want to know if I'm right, but I would rather ask you first"

"Okaaayyyy"

"Do you like oikawa?"

That question made both of you stop in your tracks.
