Someone Who Loves Me (Oikawa Tōru x Reader)

Chapter 19

~Third Person POV~
~Saturday afternoon~

It was a dream

"FUCKING SHIT!.... FUCK YOU ASS HOLE! AHHH DAMMIT!" [y/n] screamed as she threw her pillows around aggressively.

"It was all a fucking dream" She whispered to herself, throwing herself back onto the bed.

She took a deep breath staring at the ceiling. Then exhaled. She got off the bed and walked to the bathroom. She picked up her toothbrush and applied toothpaste. As she was brushing her teeth she looked in the mirror.

I do love him... but I want him to confess.

When she finished in the bathroom she quickly got changed and walked to the gym.

Looks like it's going to rain. She thought to herself looking up at the sky. As she continued walking she pulled out her phone to check the weather.

Oh it's going to storm around 10pm. I wonder what time does oikawa want to go out.

In no time she made it to the gym. She started her manager task. After practice [y/n] was helping clean up, then oikawa approached her.

"H-hey" he started.

Did he stutter? he must be nervous.

"Hey"

"Um so it's supposed to storm at 10, wanna go out at 8."

"Sure"

"Let's go dumbasses" Iwaizumi told the two. They grabbed there stuff and followed behind Iwaizumi hand in hand. Again Iwaizumi was the first to be dropped off. It was just [y/n] and oikawa. It was another awkward silence.

"F/n?"

"Yes?"

"I-I have something to ask you. N-now I don't want to upset you but I just have to know. I-is it possible for you to love someone else if you've been hurt in your past relationships... u-Uh just speaking hypothetically, this has nothing to do with you, I just didn't want to upset you"

She knew this had everything to do with her, but of course she didn't let him know that.

"Um well yes, it may take some time to recover from a relationship that hurt you, depends on how bad things were."

"What about you? Are you okay now? Do you think you could fall in love again?"

That question caught her off guard. She already declared she loved oikawa this morning. I knew I could put my past behind me, but I never thought I could fall in love a again.

"Yes I can, I think I would be ready now to start a relationship with someone. I think I'm ready to fall in love... again" she answered. "But... I would want the person who loves me to confess first though"

"Oh" was all he had to say. They had arrived at her house. "So Um, I'm gonna head hom and change and I'll be back to pick you up. You have less than 30 minutes, so don't take too long"

"Okay oikawa, go home. I'll be ready" she laughed walking up to her front door.

~your POV~

We were sitting at the restaurant... more quiet than last time. I mean we would come up with small talk but it just wasn't the same. He was more fidgety. Stuttering in every sentence. Sometimes he would break a sweat

I have never seen him so nervous. He's always confident and childish, now he looks like he's about to throw up.

We've already finished eating and now he's even more nervous.
