"Don't blame me, blame anyone except me. Blame Rowan that stupid Alpha for always hot on our heels. I am twenty years old Ethan; I can make decisions for myself." I shouted at him. Closing the door behind me. My heart pounded against my chest. The monster in me trying to claw its way out, ready to snap everything that stands in my way.
Yes princess we will not stop for anything until we get what we want. a voice in my head said sadistically. My wolf growled, sounding angry and frustrated.
I can hear Ethan trying to open the door, shouting at me to come out of the room. I let his voice turn into a dull hum in my mind and shoved it in the deepest part of my conscious. I quickly wore a track pant. Opening the window, I clutched the rail and climbed down.
I ran towards the forest hoping nature would calm me down; as I was running, I heard footsteps behind me, footstep which belonged to none other than Ethan who was chasing me. What a prick? I turned around to find Ethan picking up speed.
I started discarding my clothes letting my wolf take control; as my bones reshaped. I shifted into my beast running far, far from him.
Ethan too shifted and started chasing me. I was running as fast as I could but he was faster than me. A trained warrior honed and prepared for any situation to handle.
He pounced on me, tackling me to the ground. Pain laced my growl as the hard forest ground dug into my back, broken branches poking my limbs. Above me Ethan in his wolf form. beautiful as ever. His paws resting on either side of my head. His fur a dark brown with a hint of a light shade of oak wood color. His green eyes turned red with anger as he kept on gazing at me. His lips turning into a sneer hinting at the amount of trouble I have landed myself in.
He stood up looking at me dead in my eyes. He moved his head lower, nudging his nose against my stomach, mentioning me to get up. I shook my head refusing. He growled repeating the same motion again.
Suddenly he pulled me up by biting me where my neck met my shoulder. I growled as I felt his fangs tearing my skin blood oozing from it. I thought of shifting and giving him a piece of my mind but he quickly pushed me behind his massive form. Taking his fighting stance, he peered into the darkness observing everything, wary of our surroundings. Trying to figure out who our potential threat is.
Swift as an arrow something shot at us from the darkness. I and Ethan dodged it in time. I peered into the forest ground trying to find out what almost pierced my limb. It looked like a tranquilizer, I sniffed trying to find out what it was filled with. Smelling the aconitum I let out a growl. It is a special herb that temporarily disables a werewolf's ability, making them extremely weak.
Hearing the thuds of paw against the forest ground. Ethan let out a small growl. While I tried figuring out who we were facing against. A powerful presence surrounded us. the presence was close to an Alpha but not an Alpha maybe a beta? It was the same wolves who chased me earlier. They came closer to us an inch forward. From the hunting group, five wolves came forward circling us. Ethan growled at them again this time, a warning. A warning to not come nearer. They closed in from all sides leaving no room for escape. A wolf with blond fur approached us cautiously. I growled scared that it would try to harm us
Then the same wolf with black fur who has a powerful presence shifted into his human form. He looked about 6'5 foot tall. His facial features were barely distinguishable. I couldn't see the rest of him as he quickly moved into the shadows. Obscuring himself from our sight.
"Either you can come peacefully with us or we can sedate you and bring you with us. My Alpha wants to meet you both. You have caused a lot of problems for us." He said his voice booming in the quiet forest.
We weren't ready to give up, sensing this. The other four wolves closed on us. Ethan and I were ready to fight. Using this window of chance. The mysterious shooter who earlier tried to shoot us. Shot again and this time he or she didn't miss his target.
There must have been enough aconitum in the tranquilizer to cause the searing pain in my body. I howled in pain as I shifted back into my human form. Tears sliding down my cheek, trailing a path down to my neck. I felt someone drape a jacket over my body as Ethan clutched my fingers.
I fell into a dreamless but painful sleep. I woke up to someone splashing cold water on me. I shivered the water drowning my clothes. Wait. Clothes! Ew, someone had dressed me. But, who? I was wearing an oversize shirt and track pants. The next thing I noticed was I was kneeling on the ground, my hands and legs tied to a pole on either side of my body. Uncomfortably stretching my body. I didn't like this position at all. It left me vulnerable and uneasy.
I looked at the man who threw water at me. He had blonde hair and grey eyes; the same blonde wolf who approached us before we were kidnapped. I recognized his scent though it was barely noticeable. I was tired, weak, and hungry. There was another man who was standing by the locked door. I recognized his scent, that powerful presence.
I sniffed again carefully the brown one and the blonde one, remembering my lessons. I was sure the brown one was the beta and the blonde one the third in command. I also smelled dead rats, urine, vomit, and a powerful hypnotizing scent but I couldn't place my finger on it. It seemed as if someone was trying to mask their scent. Even through my weak state, the smell captivated me.
I tried sensing Ethan but I couldn't find his presence in this room. I closed my eyes trying to find him. Trying to connect with him. I panicked when I couldn't reach her. The aconitum in my body made my powers ineffective letting out a growl out of sheer panic. Frustrated I opened my mouth to shout for Ethan when a deep masculine voice interrupted me. A voice that made my nipples pebble. What the fuck? I don't want to experience Stockholm syndrome. I shouted my horny ass wolf.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" I turned around and found the most handsome man coming out of the shadows. The soft hue from the bulb illuminating his impressive features. I sniffed at him, the same powerful yet sexy smell hitting my nostrils. He smelled of mint and oak. I was sure he was Alpha Rowan, the prickhead who has been hunting for us. I can smell his stench from here. Knowing very well who he is I asked.
"Who are you?" I asked not willing to give away anything.
He moved swiftly like a bolt of lightning and stood before me. He took hold of my chin in a tight grip.
"I am Alpha Rowan Whitethron Santiago sweetheart and you are in no position to question me. So I would watch your mouth and behave like the good little girl you are" He replied with a threat visible in his voice. How can he call me a kid? I am a woman for god's sake. My anger dissipated momentarily as I felt a jolt of electricity at the contact of his callous fingers caressing my cheek. My pussy clutched in pleasure.
Why am I feeling like this? I asked more to myself than to my wolf but she still replied in a weak voice- because he is our mate Aur
