(A/N: Hey! Been awhile since we had a authors note, how are ya'll. Promise this isn't just to say hi. I wanted to say that I don't ship Puffy and Niki, that's what this chapter is about. Even though they did canonically go on a date, and that did happen in this world. In this AU, Puffy joined sooner and the date did happen.)
"Do you still have it?" Puffy questioned. The girls where sat back to back, in a tunnel under L'manburg. The fire had spread across the country, until a team of Tommy, Fundy, and Skeppy had gotten it under control. For now they were hidden. It was unsure if they where aware of who had burnt the tree, but if they would out that it had been Puffy and Niki, then they where doomed.
"Have what?" Niki questioned sleepily. She had spent most of the nigh pillaging and making supplies so they could survive for awhile, well Puffy made the tunnel. It had been tiring work, attempting not to be seen.
"The ring." Puffy prompted, and she could feel Niki nod and rummage in her inventory.
"Here it is." Niki showed her a small diamond with the worlds 'Promise Ring' engraved on it. Puffy glanced around at the stone walls, watching the blue light reflect in little dancing patterns. Both watched the lights performance for a minute, before Niki put the diamond away.
"I always keep it in my ender chest, but I grabbed it on my way here. I was worried I wouldn't have access to a ender chest for awhile." Niki explained before a small yawn escaped her lips. Puffy smiled at the other girl, and gently took her hand. She lead her over to the two beds she had placed. Niki squeezed her hand before laying down and quickly passing out. Puffy giggled lightly at her tired friend, before getting to work on making the tunnel look nicer. She had a feeling they'd be there for awhile.

Puffy glanced at Niki, still peacefully sleep. She trusted Niki, not even Bad could change her mind on that.
CaptianPuffy messages you: That's a paradox.
Badboyhalo messages you: You know what I mean
CaptianPuffy messages you: Ya sure. I should go to sleep now
