A Baby In My Nest

( Just a plea of a mother bird if someone could bring her 'baby' back. A child once he grows is thrilled to see the world outside. Its mother while caring for him and growing him up is seeing her world in him.
When he is just a baby for his mother and as he learns to fly, he flies away to see the world leaving his mother to cry 'my baby, my baby' in search of him behind. If someone could bring her 'baby' (now grown up) back ?

BUT WAIT! Is it just a mother bird crying for her beloved baby? It's more than it's said. This seemingly simple poem has alot to say. It says about a part of me. I wish someone could work it out for me. )

A baby bird

A baby word

In my nest

In my nest

Couldn't fly

No couldn't try

Couldn't reach the world

Beyond the sky

Now today

It's gone

I wonder where

And left me to cry

My baby bird

The 'baby' word

Forlornly,

It was here in my nest

The baby bird

Flew in the search

To know the world

In the sky, my baby bird

As simple

As the word

My baby bird

Left me to cry

If you see

My baby bird

If you hear

The 'baby' word

In my lap

Bring me back

My baby bird

'Coz still I'm crying
