Bucky Barnes - one shots

I Remember You

Prompt: Bucky comes out of the Winter Soldier trance and remembers you. His feelings, the memories, everything all comes back. Even after all these years apart.

The group was on a mission to take down one of the the HYDRA bases that was uncovered. Not everyone was there, if they were you would all be compromised. Instead it was Steve, Tony, you and the two assassins of the team Clint and Natasha.

Clint and Nat had been covering the outside and first floor of the base. Steve and Tony were on the roof battling off the snipers. Leaving you to fight all the agents in the middle levels. This was nothing new, you were always left to fight alone, unless Sam came along. But you were one of SHIELD's best hand to hand combat fighters, meaning you were used to it.

Because you usually fought alone, everyone you went against always under estimated you. And boy did they pay for that! This time was no different, HYDRA agents crowed around you all thinking they would be able to take you down, instead they were the ones ending up on the ground.

"We're all clear up here." Steve said through coms.

"Good then come down to the main floor. They just keep piling in." Clint spoke almost out of breath.

You could hear Steve's footsteps running down the stairs. He stopped when he saw you and the amount of them you were fighting. "You good, (Y/l/n)?" You didn't respond, instead you kept fighting. throwing your fist around and kicking your foot at agents heads, and even sometimes taking out your knife. The only weapon you ever really use when fighting.

Steve took the hint and kept running down the stairs. The rest of the fighting felt like hours, until everyone had cleared the area. You just finished fighting the last one of them, so you started to walk down the stairs. Until there was a gunshot the sound coming from right behind you, the bullet didn't hit you but it came very close.

Turning around, your eyes went wide. The infamous Winter Soldier was standing behind you, with gun in hand, finger still on the trigger. It was the first time you had no idea what to do, yes you were skilled and could dodge any bullet shot at you. But with this man standing in front of you, you got all choked up.

Shockingly the soldier threw his gun to the side, but that didn't stop him from walking towards you at a fast pace. Realizing he was going to fight with his fists, you smirked, being a bit more cocky this time around.

He threw the first punch, missing completely from your dodge. You went in for the next hit, also missing. 'Was this just going to be back and forth missing?' you thought to yourself. But you spoke too soon.

You had gone in with your knee to hit him in the stomach and didn't miss. The soldier grunted stepping back a bit, he didn't think you would be that strong, but he very quickly snapped out of it. Charging at you. Taking the opportunity you ran at him too, going in to wrap your legs around his neck, easily taking him to the ground.

The grip you had around his neck tightened, but that's when you realized that he had a metal arm. Swiftly the Winter Soldier ripped your legs from around his neck and using his metal limb threw you at the wall across the room. Knocking the wind out of you, that didn't stop him from continuing to go after you.

Thud.

"Did you hear that?" Nat asked the group.

They all looked around confused. It wasn't until they noticed that you still weren't there, when they started to worry.

"She did clear her floors, right?" Clint asked, moving his hand from his mouth to out in front of him.

"Yes. I specifically asked her if she was clear. and she had said 'yes Tony, I am all good up here, coming down now.' Meaning that whatever that was it wasn't good, she was probably ambushed." Tony said the last part a bit panicked.
