Bucky's Pov

Everyday was the same here, endlessly walking down the empty halls, millions of thoughts rushing through my mind. Anyone that would pass by would glare, or probably think I'm insane with the way I always walk the halls. I don't talk to anyone in this place, I don't trust any of them. At this point I hardly even talk to Steve, he's always engaging with everyone else, and I just can't talk to any of them. It's simple, there is no shared life experience.

I've talked to Nat here and there, I guess we have some shared experience, but not much. Plus I remember seeing her in passing while I was in hydra, never though did we work together. Thankfully, I probably would break down everytime I see her face if we did.

There was one person though that she did remind me of, one of her friends from the red room. We used to be partners. And god, it killed me when I heard she died. I didn't even get to know her real name, al I knew was they called her Midnight.

Stark decided today would be a great day to throw a party, making it harder and harder to be alone. He had someone bugging everyone for the whole entire day. Asking what people wanted for food, drink, music, attire. In the end though, he just ended up choosing for everyone, or at least that is what he did to me... Nevertheless though, it sucked.

The music started blasting at 5, and people started showing up at 5:30. All of them were so loud, I swear you could hear anyone's simple conversation from 3 floors up! Worst part, I got dragged down to join everyone at 6, by Nat and Steve. Quite honestly I have no idea why they would even want me there, like all of their friends and co-workers are already down there. What more could i do?

To look somewhat decent, I put on a navy blue button up, with sleeves long enough to cover the metal arm. That would make such a big scene if anyone saw it.

When I entered the main room, half the people there were already drunk, especially Sam, Clint and Tony. Man, Tony specifically was beyond wasted. If I didn't know any better he was probably about to pull some crazy ass stunt.

"So, what drink am I making you?" Nat spoke, stand at the opposite side of the bar from me. Her red hair constantly falling in her face as she waited for me to answer.

"Well since I can't get drunk anymore... just give me whatever you got. Hell at this point, I wouldn't even care if you mixed anything together." She laughed a bit at the last part, which caused me to smile. Gotta admit was a bit funny.

She turned around placing a glass in front of her, to hide it from me, then grabbed a few bottles and started pouring one of them into the glass. Then she turned around handing it to me. As the liquid glided down my throat I immediately recognized what it was, scotch.

"Out of every drink you have, you gave me a Scotch?" Making a shocked face, but it was easy to tell I was just messing around with her. "You have to have something better than that."

Without letting me say another word, she took the glass. Being sure this time to pour three different drinks together. Whatever she put in there almost spilled out of the glass, as well it didn't even look like there was more than one drink in there.

"So I stuck with scotch as one of the drinks, but the other two are bourbon, and vodka." She placed the glass in front of me. Instantly I drank it it tasted shockingly good, and my face must have said that. "Good, huh?" I nodded as a response.

Out of the blue as we were sitting there talking, her phone started buzzing. I didn't mean to look, but it said unknown caller, personally I don't usually trust it when they say that. Nat on the other hand jumped at the chance to answer it.

"I'm sorry I really have to take this, I'll be right back." I nodded back again, and as she was walking away I heard her say 'You're here'. She sounded excited so maybe it wasn't that bad.
