Meet n' Greet

Walking through the school grounds, Rin started confronting himself about how he was going to do this. Not Anzu nor any of the other members of the student council told him about meeting the sensha-dō team of Ooarai, or some sort of meet n' greet. So, he guessed, he will have to introduce himself on his own. But how? Should he just walk up before practice and go,

"Hello, my name is Rin Mitsue, I'm a new member of your tankery team, I look forward to working with you.", Or should he introduce himself in a special way? He decided what any daft tank nerd would decide to do. Introduce himself in a practice match. Since he was going to be all on his own, save for a friend experienced in driving that he brought along, his options were limited. Determining that, ridding the tank of the radio operator wasn't that big of a deal, he settled for the French Somua S35, a (for it's time) modern and well equipped tank, that was faster, had a bigger gun, and had thicker armour than the Panzer 3 with a top speed of about 40 km/h, a 47mm gun, and 40-47mm of armour. Beautiful protection, beautiful gun, beautiful speed, the tank was, excluding some in this context irrelevant problems with the design among other things, beautiful.

Rin looked at his watch. It was time. The practice match had begun. He ordered his tank to move out. Sitting on the hatch at the back of the turret, Rin looked around, keeping his eyes open. He ordered his tank onto the top of a hill to gain better visibility of his enemies. Once he reached the top of the hill, he spotted a 38-T, an M3 Lee, a STuG 3, and a Panzer 4 sitting at the edge of a forest, where fields and forest met. Rin soon identified the most dangerous. The StuG 3 was probably the biggest problem, maintaining the chance to penetrate at any distance with it's powerful Kraftwagenkanone 40, Rin already decided that it would have to go first. A shot to the back or top should do. The Panzer 4 Ausf. D was also pretty threatening, with a very high chance to penetrate at 500m distance and closer. Rin planned for a shot at the engine, his cannon would most definitely penetrate it, hopefully knocking it out. the M3 Lee only had challenging Armour at the front of the vehicle with 51mm. However, seeing as Rin's planning on taking out the two biggest dangers from behind, he may as well do the same with the M3, because, just like every tank, it's Armor was weakest in the back. The 38(t) was probably the least threatening, with 13-25mm of Armor all round. With that thing, it didn't matter where Rin placed the shell, as long as it hits, and it hits an important part, it was incredibly likely for him to take it out with one shot. Having planned out his attack, he ordered his tank down the hill.

The Panzer IV, StuG III, and M3 team were ready to go, but were still waiting on the Type 98B team, which had somehow gotten lost in the woods. Inside the 38(t), Momo was tapping her foot impatiently, annoyed with the Type 98B team's getting lost. After having patiently guided the Type 98B team through the forest for about 15 minutes, she was at the end of her rope. Just one last push would set her off..

"Ehh.. We don't have a Compass.." Noriko Isobe bashfully replied to Momo.

"How do you not have a Compass! You should know to bring one!" Momo snapped at Isobe.

"Relax Momo. Have a sweet dried potato." Anzu offered to Momo, stretching out her bag of potatoes to her. Unfortunately, she wasn't going to relax any time soon, as she then slapped the bag out of Anzu's grasp, and spilt all of the potatoes across the floor.

"No! They should know by now to bring a Compass with them to sensha-dō training!" As Momo continued to have a fit and berate the Type 89B team, and Anzu fiddled with another bag of sweet dried potatoes, the other teams were slowly starting to get bored. Mako fell asleep, Hana started fiddling with her sights, Yukari started tinkering with the ammo racks, and Miho observed the 38(t), trying to listen in on the conversation going on inside. The M3 team started playing cards, and the StuG III team started discussing Historic events.
