Song - Caraphernelia by Pierce The Veil
Picture - Alexander William Gaskarth :)

Vic's P.O.V

I said my goodbyes to Scarlet, and turned to enter the bus. I really hoped this would work. Scarlet had come down to see our show yesterday since she began dating Jack, and I asked her if she would help me plan something big for Ally that would help get her creative juices flowing for her article. I know that she's been stuck lately, and Scarlet used to be a writer so she knew a lot about writers block. Today we went to a coffee shop to discuss what to do to help her. We had the perfect plan.

As soon as I stepped on the bus, I received a worried glance from Mike. In a matter of seconds, all the guys were giving me a similar look. "What?" I asked, furrowing my eye brows. "Have you seen Twitter lately?" Tony asked, his voice barely above a whisper. I slowly shook my head and became more and more confused by the second.

Mike walked over to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. "You might want too." He said before walking back towards the bunks. I hurried over to the kitchen table and sat down on one of the chairs before pulling out my phone and opening the Twitter app.

My jaw dropped and my heart began to race when I saw nothing but pictures of Scarlet and I walking around town together. Assumptions were being made that I had dumped or cheated on Ally, which was complete bullshit. I admit if you didn't know what I was planning, it would look like I was cheating. "Shit." I muttered under my breath.

"Where is she?" I asked no one in particular. Tony gestured towards the back lounge, and I sprinted towards the automatic door. I needed to explain myself to her. She's probably heart broken. I pushed the button for the door to open, but it stayed put. Fuck, she locked it. I heard sniffles and muffled cries coming from the other side. "Ally, please." I whispered, leaning my head against the door.

The cries came to a halt, but the door still wouldn't budge. "I need to be a-alone." She whimpered, her voice sounded shot from crying. "Just please let me explain." I begged. "There's nothing to explain. I saw the pictures, Vic." She said with a little more confidence.

Suddenly the door slid open and my eyes fell on Ally. Her eyes were blood shot but were also filled with anger and pain. I quickly stepped into the room before she changed her mind, and shut the door behind me. "Ally, I would never hurt you." I mumbled, unsure of what to say.

"But you did." She laughed dryly. I tried to take a step near her, but she backed away. "No. You don't get to do this. I saw what I saw." She spat. She spun around and picked up her phone off the couch. "I'm staying with All Time Low for a few days." She whispered. I felt my heart break. I didn't want her to go.

"No, Ally please." I cried, my voice cracking. "I can't stay on this bus any longer. Just try and forget that I was ever here." She said.

She began to walk towards the door, but I grabbed her wrist and spun her around. "What if I can't forget you?" I choked, a tear streaming down my face. Her eyes locked with mine for a few seconds before she tore her arm from my grasp and stormed off the bus.

Alysha's P.O.V

I knew what I was doing was the right choice. If I was on that bus any longer, I would've gone mad. After I finished my shower, I called Alex and asked if I could stay with them. He asked why, but I didn't want to tell him. He would probably figure it out for himself when he checked Twitter. I grabbed the small luggage I packed off the bunk, and left without giving anyone a valid explanation.

Vic would explain it all to them later.

I knocked twice on ATL's bus door, and seconds later it swung open. Before I could protest, I was being pulled into a hug. I didn't have to look up to know it was Alex. "Thanks for letting me crash here." I spoke into his chest. "Don't mention it." He replied before pulling away from our hug.

"We actually have an extra bunk so you can sleep there." He said, taking my hand and pulling me towards the rows of bunks. "It's right above mine, so right.... here." He smiled, grabbing my luggage and shoving it on my new bunk.

I gave him a look of horror, and he chuckled. "I know you're shorter than most so I'll help you up there every night." He assured me. I sent him a small smile and nodded my head before trudging into the kitchen. "Did you have breakfast?" He asked. I shook my head no, and he tossed me a sliver package of poptarts. I mumbled a thanks to him before tearing open the paper and taking a bite.

"Where's everyone else?" I curiously asked. "They went to go check out the city since it's our day off." Alex replied. I nodded my head in response and took another bite of my poptarts.

*****

"Fuck." I whispered as my pencil led snapped on me once again. I was currently sitting in my bunk above Alex, trying my best not to wake anyone up. I quickly unlocked my phone to check the time, and mentally gasped at how late it was. 1:17 am.

I tried over and over again to come up with an entry for my article, but nothing worked. So here I was, pouring my heart out into a poem. I read over the only two lines that littered my paper.

What if I can't forget you? I'll burn your name into my throat, I'll be the fire that'll catch you.

After skimming over the words a few more times, it hit me like a pile of bricks. This wasn't a poem. It was a song. I quietly grabbed my notepad and pencil, and jumped down from my bunk. Luckily, no one woke up.

I made my way to the back lounge, and spotted Alex's acoustic guitar in the corner. Perfect.

I don't know what it was, but the words just started flowing out of my brain, through my hand, and onto the paper.

What if I can't forget you? I'll burn your name into my throat, I'll be the fire that'll catch you. What's so good about picking up the pieces? None of the colors ever light up anymore in this hole. Just give her back to me, you know I can't afford the medicine that feeds what I need. So baby, what if I can't forget you? Collide invisible lips, like a shadow on the wall and just throw....

I can't give you an answer as to why I wrote this from a boys point of view. It just seemed right. I began strumming the guitar and coming up with the notes for the chorus. I was determined to complete this song, and do it perfectly.
