Vic's P.O.V

"Vic, Scarlet's here!" Mike yelled from the living room. I rolled my eyes and slowly got out of bed, putting my notebook away. Scarlet is my current girlfriend, which I wasn't even sure if I loved her at all. Sure, she was gorgeous. She had bright pink and purple pastel colored hair dark brown eyes, and a smile that could kill. She had olive toned skin, but there was still a certain something she was lacking.

She wasn't Alysha.

Yeah, I know it's crazy to be still in love with her after a year. But she's really fucked me up. I missed her like crazy, and I thought I was over her when I first met Scarlet. But then I did a lot of thinking and figured out that all Scarlet was was a rebound. And I felt like shit for using her like that.

"Hey babe." Scarlet smiled as I walked into the kitchen. She walked over to me, and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Hey." I replied, plastering a fake smile on my face. Mike scoffed from his position on the couch. He wasn't too found of Scarlet, and he made that clear every time she came over. He's still upset that I'm not with Ally anymore and he won't let it go. "So, Jaime and Jessica are going out today and they invited us along. Kind of like a double date. Doesn't that sound fun?" Scarlet asked, looking up at me. "It sounds great. I'll go get ready." I responded. I walked into my room and quickly put on a black beanie, and a plain black hoodie.

It'll be nice to get out of the house for a while. I mean, I've been sitting in here all day working on some new songs. I was going to go fucking crazy if I didn't go somewhere besides from my room to the kitchen.

Alysha's P.O.V

"We do it all our way, no matter what they try and say about it!" I sang along with my music. Something about this song always gets to me. *They Don't Need To Understand by Andy Black AKA Andy Biersack*

I had about two hours before Jessica and Jaime would be here, and I had no idea what I was going to wear. They claimed that we were going to just hang out here, but they also said that they were bringing a few other people along so I wanted to look decent. After what seemed like ages of searching for the right outfit, I finally laid my eyes on a white lace shirt with the sleeves slightly rolled up. I wore a white tank top underneath and black leather high waisted short. Not until the last minute did I decided to wear a dark blue bandana with it.

I rushed into the bathroom to get ready, but before I could even close the door my phone buzzed with a text from Jessica.

Jess xx - We'll be there in about twenty minutes. Remember, dress to impress ;)

I groaned and closed the bathroom door before locking it. I had no idea who she was bringing over, but she had told me that I needed to look good. I assumed it was some blind date that she was attempting to set me up on. She's been doing that a lot since Vic and I split.

I finished up the last of my makeup and took a look in the mirror. The shorts stopped at mid thigh so you could see a few of my faded scars. I've been about six months clean and I couldn't even express in words how proud I was. Like I said, I was getting better. My hair was pulled into a messy bun on the top of my head, with the bandana tied around like a head band to top it off. I began putting my lip gloss back into my makeup bag when the doorbell rang throughout my house. I nervously made my way downstairs and to the front door.

Maybe it's a good thing that Jessica is trying to set me up on dates. I mean, I have been single for over a year. I can't let Vic leave such a big impact on my life. He's already moved on. Why shouldn't I?
