Alysha's P.O.V

SEVEN MONTHS LATER

I waited nervously for Jessica to finish my makeup. Today was the big day. My wedding day. I've been picturing this day since I was a little girl. Except I always hoped that it would be my dad walking be down the aisle. Too bad he's a complete ass and landed himself in prison again.

"Can I look now?" I asked, growing impatient. "No, I'm almost done!" Jessica replied. I groaned as I felt her begin to apply some blush to my cheeks. I just wanted this to speed up so I could finally see Vic. In just a few short hours I'm going to be Mrs. Fuentes.

"Done! Now look at your face then go put on your dress." Jessica smiled. I spun around in my chair to face the mirror, and gasped. I'm not going to lie, I looked gorgeous. "Thank you so much Jess." I whispered, jumping off the chair and pulling her into a bone crushing hug. "Not a problem babe. Now the girls are waiting for you in your dressing room!" She urged, pushing me towards the door.

I slowly pushed open the door, and smiled at my dress hanging off a body mirror. It was a beautiful, simple white dress with diamonds and beads randomly placed on the silk. I was so lucky that Erin caught sight of it while we were dress shopping.

"Ally, you look beautiful!" Alysha yelled, running to give me a hug. Of course, I couldn't have a wedding without my four girl best friends. Alysha, Erin, and Jessica were all here and were not other than my bridesmaids.

I gave them a smile in return, and pulled them all into a giant group hug. "Now, let's get you in your dress!" Erin exclaimed, clapping her hands together.

I grabbed the dress off the hanger and handed it to Erin to hold while I stripped out of my other clothes. I was already wearing my strapless bra and white underwear underneath so I didn't need to worry about changing that. The girls all helped me slide on the dress while Alysha had the honor of zipping it up in the back.

"Before you look at yourself we need to get your hair done!" Erin warned, quickly turning around the mirror. "I'll get my things." Alysha said. With that, both girls left me to my own thoughts in the dressing room. Seconds later Alysha returned with several things. Hairspray, bobby pins, a curling iron, a brush and so much more. "Sit." She ordered, pointing towards a chair.

I did as told and Alysha placed a towel around my shoulders so nothing happened to the dress. It took her a total of about an hour to do my hair. It better be worth it because I'm 100% sure my butt is numb from sitting in this damn chair.

As soon as I was told to look in the mirror, I was out of my seat and running towards the mirror. I felt tears brimming my eyes as I stared at my refelction. The dress was past perfection and my hair was perfectly curled and pinned back. Not to mention the stellar job Jessica did on my makeup.

"Oh my god." I squeaked out, trying to hold back the tears. "You look breath taking Ally." Jessica praised. I nodded my head in agreement, before spinning around and giving each of them a hug.

"Where's the bride?" A familiar voice asked. I rushed out of the room to see Alex smiling with his hands in his pockets. His jaw dropped when he saw me. "Ally... You look stunning." He choked out. I ran over to him, and pulled him into a giant hug. "I can't believe this is happening." I whispered.

He picked my face up to look at him. "Don't cry, you'll ruin your makeup." He said, laughing dryly. "You sound just like Jessica." I groaned, crossing my arms.

"Well, there's a huge crowd of people and a groom waiting for your arrival. Ready Ally?" He asked, holding out his arm. I nodded my head and grabbed ahold of his outstretched arm. I heard the clicking of the girls heels behind me. Holy shit this is real. I'm getting married to Vic. The man I've been in love with for over half my life.

I guess wishes can come true.

We all patiently waited at the end of the aisle for my music to start. Copeland was more than excited that she gets to be the flower girl. She almost walked out too early about six times. I heard the familiar time begin to play from the piano and everyone in front of me began to walk down the aisle.

Finally Copeland started walking and throwing flower petals around. Now it was my turn. Alex squeezed my hand assuringly as we slowly made our way behind Copeland. Then our eyes locked. Vic looked amazing. As always. I saw Vic wipe away a tear from under his eye. A single tear rolled down my cheek and fell to the ground.

Finally we made it to the alter and Alex handed me off to Vic. "You look beautiful." Vic whispered. I smiled widely as the pasture began to speak. I didn't really pay attention to what he had to say. I was too focused on Vic and how his eyes never left mine.

"You may now say your vows." He said. We decided earlier that Vic would get to go first.

"Ally, there's so many things that I could say to you right now. You've been my escape from reality for so long. You can turn my day around just by smiling your perfect smile. Our relationship has been nothing but a wasteland. But it just so happens to be my only retreat. Your love is my safe haven. I can't picture being with anyone but you. I love you Ally." He finished.

I quickly finished my vows, which were gutter trash compared to his. But he didn't seem to mind.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The preacher said.

Without a second of hesitation, Vic snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me against him. His lips quickly found mine, and he kissed me passionately. My hands found their way to his hair as I deepened the kiss. We finally pulled away, and I rested my forehead against his. "Ready for the world Mrs. Fuentes?" Vic asked, interlocking our fingers.

"I'm ready." I whispered.

This Is A Wasteland is now officially over :( No worries my children, I already have half of a first chapter for my Alex Gaskarth story so that should be posted later today :) I don't think this chapter could have gone any better. I really hope you guys enjoyed this series as much as I did.
