Head In the Clouds [{Im}Perfect Dare]

Hello, loves! c:

This is my entry for the wonderful {Im}Perfect Dare by @beyoutiful1D! I know I have loads of updating to do for Midnight and Love Me For Me isn't even started yet but this dare was the most amazing idea I've ever heard of c: And it's a great excuse for me to write something non-fanfiction.

Now don't go closing the window 'cause I said "non-fanfiction". Please, just give it a chance c: I will be updating Midnight AT LEAST once before I start this dare, because sadly, during the dare I probably won't be able to update anything else (I bet I'll hardly even be able to keep up with this dare, but it's worth a shot :)

Now, I bet some of you don't know what the heck I'm talking about with this {Im}Perfect Dare. Haha, it's basically a dare for the writer's of Wattpad to take a break and just enjoy writing. @beyoutiful1D started it and it's an absolutely fabulous idea! Here's the rest of the dare:

1.       Write a scene that takes place in a coffee shop

2.       Write a scene involving a simple item that triggers a memory

3.       Write a scene where your favorite song is playing in the background

4.       Write a scene in a church

5.       Write a scene that takes place on a farm

6.       Write a scene where you absolutely love the outfit one of the character’s is wearing

7.       Write a scene with no dialogue

8.       Write a scene that takes place at a concert

9.       Write a scene with only one character, alone.

10.   Write a scene where some kind of emergency occurs.

11.   Write a scene where one of the characters is a musician.

12.   Write a scene that involves the word angel.

13.   Write a scene with only dialogue, no narrative.

14.   Write a scene where a character cries.

15.   Write a scene taking place in an (almost) empty room

16.   Write a scene based off something that occurred in your life.

17.   Write a scene that you’ve always been afraid to write about; break out of your comfort zone.

18.   Write a scene in a mansion.

19.   Write a scene that you would feel exhilarated to write.

20.   Write a scene taking place in an alley.

21.   Write a scene involving a newspaper.

22.   Write a scene where two characters kiss, unexpectedly.

23.   Write a scene involving a park bench.

24.   Write a scene based off a song.

25.   Write a scene with a character who has dyed hair.

26.   Write a scene that takes place exactly where you are right now.

27.   Write a scene that is humorous.

28.   Write a scene that is completely shocking.

29.   Write a scene involving a strong, evident scent or smell.

30.   Write a scene that you’ve been dying to write, anything at all.

31.   Write a scene with a character based off of yourself.

Alternatives:

-Scroll through your photo library, close your eyes, and chose one photo randomly. Write a scene around it.

-Write a scene with a fast moving car.

-Write a scene based off only one line from a song.

-Write a scene from the point of view of an animal.

-Write a scene where a character wins a contest/competition.

-Write a scene where a character finds something they’d always thought they lost.

-Write a scene involving a dare.

-Steal a scene from a movie (or fairytale), but write it in your own words. Or change it so that what you want to happen, does happen.

-Write a “scene” that is told entirely in the form of a letter from one character to another.

-Write a scene where the last dialogue spoken in the scene is your all-time favorite quote.

-Write a scene where only three words are spoken.

-Write a scene from the point of view of someone who is either blind or deaf.

-Write a scene in the style of your favorite writer.

I invite you all to participate, because this sounds like a great way for writer's to just have fun with writing! Even if your just a reader, I strongly suggest that you try this c: If you're keen on not writing, then just read along with someone who's participating in the dare. Leave comments. :)

For those of you who are fans of "Love Me For Me" and have been waiting for updates (I know I'm horrible at updating that.. I posted it in September and I still haven't uploaded chapter 1 :c) there is an explanation:

Writer's block. Hey, I didn't say it was a brilliant explanation. :/ At first, that story seemed like a fabulous idea and I got all these ideas and then *POOF* gone. *sigh* But after a TON of brainstorming, I feel like I'm ready to post the first chapter c: After all, your support for that story has been INCREDIBLE! And it's only the prologue! So thank you, loves c:

So, in short form, before I start this dare (which I'm sure you all will enjoy) I will post one-two chapters for Midnight AND the first chapter of Love Me For Me. How does that sound? :D

I'm not sure when I'll be starting this, I just know FOR SURE that I will participate in this -- even if it's not all of the days! I'm just posting this right now because I know for a fact that if I don't, I'll get to lazy to do the dare :3
