Chapter 8

A few weeks have passed, Hondo gave me a few weeks off and Dylan and I have been talking about a lot of things, Last night he told me that he wanted to have kids with me and that made me a smiling mess. I am putting up some food in the fridge thinking about what Dylan said about wanting kids, my phone started to beep meaning that I have a text, 

Picking my phone up seeing that it was Hondo asking me to come in since it was a crazy time, I told him that I am on the way, I walked out to my truck climbing in, I got to HQ and saw Deacon and Victoria talking about Brad. I got out of my truck shutting the door, still thinking about what Dylan said about kids, Walking into HQ and I walked right into Hank's back causing him to look at me with a smile,

" Sorry Hank" I said 

" It's fine Britt, looks like you got a lot on your mind" Hank said

" I do" I said 

I walked over to Hondo who has a smile while laughing, I smacked his arm and he walked with me to the locker room. I opened my locker putting my bag in and sitting down sighing, Hondo took a seat by me. 

" Talk to me Baby girl" Hondo said

" I was talking to Dylan last night and I guess he was thinking about it for a while, He told me last night that he wanted to have kids with me" I said 

" Damn, that boy is moving fast" Hondo said laughing

" The bad thing about this whole wanting kids, He wants me to move to Nashville" I said 

" What did you tell him?" Hondo asked 

" I told him that I would think about it" I said 

"If you do choose to move in with Dylan, just remember that you can always come back here anytime" Hondo said 

I got up walking behind Hondo deep in thought about everything me and Dylan talked about, walking into the main room standing against the wall looking at the floor not really paying mind to what Hicks is saying, After the meeting I walked outside over to my truck leaning on it sighing, 

I heard Victoria and Brad messing around to annoy the others, Deacon walked out seeing his daughter about to hit me some silly sting and I was not even paying any mind to what was going on around me. 

" Victoria, don't you dare, she has a lot on her mind" Deacon said 

" She needs a good distraction" Victoria laughed 

" Not from this Victoria" Deacon said 

" What could be so Important?" Victoria asked 

" When she decides then you will know" Deacon said

Time passed and everyone just got off, it took me 20 to get to my house, I got out of my truck seeing little kids running around. I picked a ball up walking overhanding it to a boy who thanked me. 

I nodded walking up the steps unlocking the door walking in shutting it, I put my bag on my couch walking to the bedroom grabbing my sleeping clothes, I got changed walking to the font, I walked outside over to my truck unlocking getting my holster that has my gun it and my badge, I turned to get out of the truck when I see Dylan who walked over pulling me into a hug, Hugging back smiling playing with the hair at the base of his neck.

" Come on, Let's go start trying for that baby" Dylan said 

I got out of the truck; Dylan pushed me against the truck Kissing me softly, wrapping my arms around his neck making the kiss rougher. He stopped pulling back breathing hard looking at me smiling,
