Chapter 3

A few months passed I am walking in the station talking with Chris about something Lexi and Katie have done and she told me that they would not get away with it, Luca and My sister are doing great and he has stoped acting like a frat boy that just started college. walking into the locker room seeing Deke who is reading a text. I walked up behind him wrapping my arms around him kissing the back of his shoulder. Hondo walked in smiling walking over handing Deke the file of the case we have,

I opend my locker taking my shirt off putting my gear on seeing Hondo leave and Deke walk over kissing me softly, Kissing back wrapping my arms around his neck smiling. 20 minutes later everyone was ready Hondo is filling us in on what is about to go down, Deke is behind me with his arm around my waist listing to what Hondo and jessica are telling us.

"Deke, Britt ya'll are with me, Luca your going to head the team of Katie, Street and Lexi" Hondo said

"Lets roll" I yelled walking out of the briefing

"So we have 3 white males taken  girls 13 and under for sex, Brittney, Deke I want you two to show no mercy on these guys" Hondo said

"You got it boss" I said walking over to the car

An hour later I am chasing down this guy that shot at me and ran. I yelled to Deke the guy was heading his way, Deke tackled the man to the ground to get the cuffs on him. I ran over helping Deke who looked at me before getting the guy up, I walked over to the car putting my gun in the trunk.

"Good job everyone we got these guys" Hondo said smiling

"Britt you ok?" Luca asked hugging me

"I think Deke is upset with me" I said

"Why? you did an amazing job chasing that idiot down" Luca said patting my shoulder

"Hes upset because I couldnt tackle the guy to the ground" I said watching Deke walk over

"Talk to him and Find out what is going on" Luca said hugging me

"Thanks luc I will" I said hugging back

Everyone made it back to the station and I walked into the locker room with Luca behind me, He smiled seeing my sister who he loved to death. I walked over to my locker taking my vest off grabbing my shirt, Deke walked in over to his locker which is right by mine he opened it and started talking to Street. I shut my locker putting my stuff in my bag walking out of the locker room.

"Britt good job out there tonight, don't worry abut not tackling the guy" Hondo said

"I will try not to" I said

"Deke he asked if he could be changed to the team with Katie and Lexi" Hondo said

"It's always been Luca Myself and Deke" I said

"I know don't worry you three will be back and stronger than ever" Hondo said

"I doubt it Hondo, Deke wants a new team plus hes pissed at me so what's the use in hoping that Luca my self and deke will get back together guess some friend ships aren't made to last" I said walking out the door

"Deke Britt feels like your mad at her and she just told hondo she doubts that the team we had will get back together and she also said some friendships are not made to last" Luca said

"I am mad at her she didn't even try to tackle that guy" Deke said

"Deke she has not been sleeping" Luca said
