Chapter 2

A few weeks have passed and Deke is back at work and doing great Hondo brought a guy and girl on and Has me and Luca training the girl and Deke training the guy. Luca is sparing with the girl while I am doing my normal work out, 

"There's my girl" Deke said walking over hugging me 

"There's my boy" I said hugging back 

"How's the training going?" Deke asked 

"She only listens to Luca, I tell her something and she does right what I tell her not too" I said 

"Sounds like my guy" Deke said 

"Looks like we are both up to our eyes in trouble" I said 

"Deke, Britt Need y'all to go check on this the mom said her daughter and son are getting into drugs and gun" Hondo said handing me the file 

"How old are they?" Deke asked looking at the file with me 

"13 and 14" Hondo said 

"Where on it boss" Deke said 

A few hours have passed and Deke and I are at the house, Screams and shots could be heard coming from inside. I grabbed my Assault rifle walking towards the house seeing the mom running out in tears, I saw the daughter and son walking out with the guns in there hands. 

"DROP THE GUNS NOW!" I yelled

"Make us" The daughter said pointing the gun at me

"DROP IT" I yelled changing to my rubber bullets

"NO!" The son said 

I pulled the trigger shooting the boy in the leg and the girl in the arm making them drop the guns. Deke ran over getting both kids putting them in back of the car. I walked over to the mother who told me there names are Maya and Rico. I got back in the car looking back at both kids who are crying. We made it back to the station where Deke and Hondo took them into a room to talk to them. 

"I can't believe you would shoot kids" Lexi said

"It was rubber bullets" I said 

"Still that's mean" Lexi said 

"Next time You can go" I said slamming my locker walking out of the room 

I walked down the hall seeing Luca who ran over to see why I was pissed, He grabbed my arm pulling me into the now Empty locker room. I looked at him them at my feet sighing. 

"What has my girl all upset?" Luca asked

"Lexi started in on me about shooting the kids with rubber bullets" I said 

"It had to be done, you told them to drop the guns more than one and they didn't listen" Luca said

"Yet I'm the bad guy for protecting my self, Deke and there mom" I said 

"You are not the bad guy, You where doing your job" Luca said

"Yeah" I said walking out of the locker room Luca behind me 

I walked past Hondo, Deke,the kids and Lexi outside. I walked over sitting on the wall running my hands over my face. Luca explained what was wrong with me and how Lexi started in on me about shooting the kids.

"Who's she going to shoot next old people then pets?" Katie asked walking up

"Enough she did it to Protect Deke, Herself and there mom" Hondo said
