Chapter 14

"I'm gonna go see her!" Adrien said.
"No!" Plagg said back.
"Why?" Adrien asked.
Plagg grabbed adriens finger and lured him to sit down at his desk chair.
"What?" Adrien said confused.
"Marinette or ladybug?!"
"W-what?"
"You heard me! Marinette or ladybug!"
Adrien sat there.
"Plagg you can't just make me choose!"
Plagg rolled his eyes.
"You can't tell me how much fun you had with marinette then turn around all amazed on how you kissed ladybug!"
Adrien realized plagg was right.
Plagg flew in his cheese cabinet.
"Why can't he just find out already!" Plagg whispered to himself.
Adrien sat there. I can't choose between them! I love them both in their own ways...

At marinettes house she didn't know what to do.
"Tikki i told you! I love them both!"
"Sounds to me like your falling for cat noir more!" Tikki teased.
"You know i'm in love with adrien and i can't just give up on him like that!"
"What will you do if adrien asked you to be his girlfriend?!"
"That's never gonna happen" Marinette said rolling her eyes.
"Well it might! So what will you do with chat?!"
Marinette thought about it.
"I don't know..."
Tikki stared at marinette then flew away.
"Marinette started to work on her homework.
I wonder if chat will visit me tonight after what i did as ladybug...
After while she finished up her homework and was tired.
I guess not tonight... she thought while falling asleep.

The next day was saturday, no school. Marinette went downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Honey we need your help in the bakery today." Her parents said.
"Ok, but why?" Marinette said confused.
"We have a lot of macaroons to bake for another event."
"Ok i'll go get dressed."
Marinette got dressed, put her apron on and got to work in the bakery.

"Adrien you have your fencing competition in 20 minutes." Nathalie said to adrien.
"Yes thank you" Adrien responded sadly.
What was he going to say to kagami?
He kept wondering how to even talk to her.
He hoped in the car and they headed to the competition. He started to get his fencing gear on and in walked kagami.
He looked up at her and felt guilty.
"Kagami-"
"Dont..." Kagami said not looking at adrien.
Adrien felt sad that he was unable to talk to her.
He put on his gloves and headed out.
After multiple matches, adrien got tired. He was one of the last two.
They were announcing who went against one another.
"Adrien and... Kagami."
Adrien didn't know what to do.
Kagami?! What are the odds of us having to go against eachother.
He realized that she would put all her anger for him into this competition.
"On guard!"
Both kagami and adrien went into ready stance.
They lunged at eachother. Adrien dodged her quickly and twisted around while pointing his sword at her. He got the point. The next round went by and kagami won the point. This was the last point. The winning point.
Should i let her win??
He had to decide quick.
She started to run at him. He dodged her. They fenced until both had their swords pointed at eachother.
The ref looked at both. It was a tie. Only the ref couldn't  decide. He narrowed his eyes and looked at both of them.
"Adriens point!" He announced loudly.
Everyone started cheering for him. He got his trophy and looked at kagami.
"I'm sorry i didn't mean-"
"It's ok" She said quickly.
She shook his hand and smiled at him.
"I'm sorry for the way i overreacted... i just didn't accept the fact that you didn't love me back."
"I'm sorry kagami, i never realized how much you loved me...can we still be friends?" He asked hopefully.
She nodded.
"Of course."
Adrien sighed in relief.
They said their goodbyes and adrien headed home.
"Father...i won my fencing competition..."
Gabriel looked over at adrien.
"I'm happy to hear that. I'm....proud of you..." He said walking up to adrien.
"Wha- really?!" Adrien said surprised.
"Yes" Garbriel said opening his arms.
Adrien ran up to him and hugged him.

"Marinette don't burn them!" Marinettes dad yelled across the kitchen.
"Don't worry dad!" Marinette said opening the oven. She pulled out the macaroons.
"Perfect."
She started to ice them.
"Done!"
Her dad walked over.
"These are great! Thank you marinette!" He said scooping her up in a big hug.
"Dad! Your squishing me!"
He laughed and put her down.
"600 macaroons later and we're done.." He said exhaustingly.
"Don't worry dad, these are great!" Marinette said handing her dad the tray. He took it and walked into the other room.
"We'll be back later, bye!" Her parents said walking out the door.
"Bye!"
Marinette sighed. She still had some batter left over. She had an idea.
She started to dye the batter magenta. She added a bit of passion fruit and baked the macaroons.
She waited for them to bake and went to her room.
She heard the thump. Chat!
She looked up at her window and saw chat curiously poke his head in.
"Marinette!" He said climbing in her room.
"Are you okay from yesterday?!"
"Oh, yeah i'm okay."
"Good" Chat said sniffing the air.
"Smells good"
Marinette grabbed his hand and took him downstairs.
She pulled her macaroons out of the oven.
Chats eyes lit up.
"My passion fruit macaroons!" He said reaching for one.
Marinette quickly smacked his hand away.
"What was that for?!" Chat said rubbing his hand.
Marinette grabbed two piping bags.
"Piping competition!" She said handing him a bag.
He smirked and took one.
"You already know i'm gonna win!"
"We'll see about that! Ready, set, go!"
They quickly got to work.
Chat was impressed with his work until he looked over at mari to see her way ahead of him.
He started to pipe messier and messier just to beat her.
"Done!" They both shouted at the same time.
They both inspected each others work.
Marinette started laughing.
Chat had an idea. He quickly ate some of her macaroons.
"Chat you didn't even pipe these correctly!"
"Well you had way less than me!" Chat protested.
"What?!" Marinette said looking back at her macaroons.
She looked up at chat who just swallowed a macaroon.
"Hey!" She said laughing.
She grabbed a piping bag and started shooting icing at chat. This caught him by surprise. He grabbed his piping back and shot back. They had an icing fight. Then chat noticed the sunset outside.
"Quick marinette put those on a platter!"
"What why-"
"Hurry!"
She quickly put them on a platter. Chat grabbed her hand and lured her to the balcony.
"Wow!" Marinette said looking at the sunset. They sat down together enjoying their macaroons.
"How have you been chat?" Marinette said.
Chat thought about that for a second.
"Actually i'm really good. My dad actually showed me affection today."
"That's so good!" Marinette said happily to chat.
The sunset started to fade into the night sky.
Chat looked over at marinette. He noticed some icing on her cheek. He took his finger and lightly moved her chin for her to face him. He gently brushed the icing off her cheek. Then he gazed into her eyes and she did the same.
"You have really pretty eyes mari.." he said mesmerized and blushing.
"th-thanks.." Her cheeks flushed with pink.
They kept their gaze on eachother.
"Your eyes...they look so...familiar..."
Marinette realized that she was ladybug and chat would think of her at any second.
Without thinking, mari held chats face. She pulled him in and kissed him.
