Adrien looked back down at her.
"Oh marinette..." He said, his words laced with pain.
Tikki flew up to adrien and hugged him tightly.
"I know.." She said holding back tears.
Tikki tried to say marinettes name but bubbles came out.
"W-what?!" She said stunned.
Adrien turned over to her curiously.
How could she still say her owners name if she was dead?! Was she not really gone?
Tikki looked at marinette closely, but there was no sign of life from her.
"Adrien bring marinette to her room!"
Adrien looked up at tikki, confused.
"But tikki-"
"Trust me!" She insisted.
He sighed.
"Tikki i'm trusting you."
"plagg claws out.."
He slowly transformed and carefully picked up marinette.
He gazed down at her and frowned. He never thought she would end up like this.
The rain started to go away.
Cat noir hopped roof to roof, with tikki following him.
He landed on her balcony and tikki opened her window. He gently laid her on her bed.
"I'm so sorry marinette.." He said holding back tears.
"Just wait" tikki said waiting for something to happen.
Cat noir waited with her. Nothing happened.
He closed his eyes and sighed.
"I'll come back tomorrow morning" chat said getting up and turning around.
He was walking to the roof when he paused and looked back over at marinette. He walked back over to her and gently kissed her cheek.
"Please come back to me..." He quietly said in desperation.
Tikki flew over to him and patted his back.
"Let me know if anything happens." He said.
"Of course"' Tikki nodded and chat hopped away. Tikki closed marinettes window and flew into her room.
She flew up to marinette and frowned.
"Marinette! Please wake up!" She pleaded.
She flew to grab a rose that cat noir had given her. She went back over to marinette and laid the rose on her.
"I know your in there! Me and cat noir need you back! Nothing will ever be the same without you..." She said with a tear rolling down her cheek.
There was no response from her.
She sighed and laid by her.

Chat landed in his room and detransformed.
Adrien walked to his door and locked it.
"I can't believe it.." He said angrily.
"I know...no miraculous holder has ever died like that.." Plagg said trailing off.
"Not just that, my father!" Adrien said looking at the sky.
Plagg didn't know what to say to him. He was already disappointed in himself for not knowing about nooroo.
"I'm sorry adrien" He said trying not to make the situation worse.
Adrien clenched his fist.
"I never want to see him or nathalie again"
Plagg looked over at adrien.
His eyes widened when he realized something.
"What if nathalie was mayura?!" Plagg said in distress.
Adrien looked up at plagg and his jaw dropped when he realized he was right.
"Remember when i took that book from him? That must of been the grimoire!" Adrien said looking back into his memories.
Plagg started to think.
"Did you see anything that could of looked like a miraculous in hiding?" He asked adrien.
Adrien closed his eyes trying to think back of what was behind the painting.
"I did! There was a peacock brooch!" Adrien gasped.
"How was i so blind?!" He said putting his hand on his forehead.
"You and me both.." Plagg murmured.
"My father is the reason behind all of this." Adrien said getting even more angry.
"He hurt everyone and akumatized my friends. It's all his fault. Marinette is dead now. There's no more ladybug." He said annoyed.
"He ruined everything.."
Tears rolled off adriens face.
Plagg flew over to him.
"Don't worry, we'll defeat him and take the butterfly miraculous back. Along with the peacock if our guessing is right" He said reassuring adrien.
"Yeah, and he'll pay."
Adrien walked over to his desk and opened the drawer. He took out a picture of him and marinette. It was a picture of him as cat noir and her. He also grabbed a drawing off of his desk.
He went over to his bed and sat down. He gazed at the drawing. It was the sketch marinette had made him as cat noir. He then looked at the picture of them. It was from a night they had together on the balcony. She had taken a picture of them after freshly baking macaroons. They both were smiling.
Droplets landed on the photo. It was from adrien crying. He couldn't comprehend how the girl he loved had vanished.
He loved everything about her.
The was she rolled her eyes at his cat puns. How she baked macaroons specially for him. Her deep and mysterious eyes. Ones that you could get lost in for hours. Most of all he loved the way he made her feel. It was like a love that was always meant to be. He could be himself around her. Not a perfect kid for his father or a picture perfect model for paris.
She made him feel comfortable. Fireworks exploded when they hugged, and it was like sparks flying when their lips touched. It was like they were soulmates.
The consistent crying was giving him a headache. He got up and gazed at the stars, wondering why it all happened the way it did.
He was about to turn to go brush his teeth when he heard something weird outside.
Suddenly, a bright flashes flew past his window.
He gasped when it caught a flash of what it was.
The magic ladybugs.
