You woke up to see the sun had just risen and streams of light pierced through the gaps of your blinds. You stretched as you sat up and looked around your dorm room for your phone which was plugged in at your desk. You got up and picked up your phone to see that it was 7 in the morning. You had woken up before your alarm again so you turned them off. You scrolled through you notifications to see that your best friend, Reiner, had left a message.

'You fell asleep on FaceTime again. I hope you sleep well x.' You groaned as you realised you didn't say goodnight to him. "Damn." You quietly said as you responded to his message. 'Srry bb boi •3• I just woke up. Hope you got some sleep x.' You chucked your phone on your bed before changing into some comfy clothes. You couldn't go out anywhere because of quarantine so you didn't dress to impress. You threw on some joggers and an over sized shirt that Reiner 'forgot' to take back because you felt down a while ago. In reality he wanted you to keep it.

You left your room and made your way down to the kitchen to make some breakfast for yourself. Classic cereal should to the trick. You took out the milk from the fridge and poured it into a bowl (YEAH I POUR MILK BEFORE MY CEREAL) and went to grab your cereal box but stopped when you realised it was empty. "What the fuck. Who ate my cereal?" And right on queue your phone pinged in your pocket. You pulled it out to see it was a message from Reiner. 'Ah good morning (y/n). I may have stolen your cereal. Don't h8 me, I luv u x.'

You groaned as you chucked the box in the bin. 'Bruh. I was looking forward to that! Imma just steal yours instead.' You replied as you picked up Reiner's box of cereal and poured yourself a bowl. (I stayed at uni for a week and had all my juice stolen!) 'nuu not my cereal! I'm coming down there to reclaim my treasure.' You suddenly heard foot steps above you travelling down the stairs. It was Reiner. You started to eat your breakfast as he opened the door to the kitchen. "Good morning mah dude." You said with a smug grin. "Damn you really stole my cereal." Reiner said as he stood in front of you.

You took the chance to admire your flat mate as he towered over you. His beard was growing as he didn't bother to shave. His blond hair was also messy as he too recently got out of bed. "It's what you get for stealing my breakfast you dog." You said as you pointed the spoon at him. "So you're going to scold me without loving me first?" It was a tradition that you both hugged each other in the morning. It had a deeper meaning than just a simple greeting. It meant that you were both there for each other.

You sighed as you placed your bowl down and wrapped your arms around Reiner. He hugged back as he rested his chin on your head before pulling away. "So what teachers do you have today (y/n)?"
"Only Professor Magath. I've got only one class so I can chill for the rest of the day. What about you Reiner?" You asked as you continued to eat. "Professor Yeager. My other teacher called in sick today." You both suddenly heard the door open to see another flat mate walk in. It was Porco in his pyjamas.

"What are you two doing down here? Better not be making out in front of my coffee." He said as he rummaged through the cupboards. "Ah shush Porco. You're just jealous you don't get morning hugs." You said as you finished your breakfast as placed the bowl in the sink. "Yeah you're right. I'm still waiting for mine." Porco sarcastically said as he made his brew. You looked at your phone to see that it was now 7:30am. "My class starts in about 30 minutes. I'm going to have to love you and leave you both."

You hugged both Reiner and Porco before making your way back to your dorm room to get ready for lessons. You sat at your desk and opened your laptop. You never concentrated during your online classes as they were so boring to you. You had art class so you had a lot of homework to catch up on. You suddenly heard your phone go off and saw that Porco message you this time. 'After you done your lesson, check on ya boi Reiner. He sulking.'
