"We already had this conversation (Y/n)" your parents sighed in dissapointment as your whole family eats in the dining table
"You will not go to the anime world using that portal, (Y/n). Your mother and I have plans for you" your father glanced at you as he puts the food in his mouth. You were born in a rich family, you are older than your annoying brother for 3 years, and your parents wanted you to take over the business.
"You'll be 18 next year dear, you are the heir of the business. You can't leave" your mother said. You were really tired of this real world, you wanted escape. But no matter how much you've tried, you still feel pressured with what's happening around you. You just wanted to leave
Now that this generation is new and technology has evolved, some smart dude invented this Anime Portal App and you can download it on your phone and once you open the app, click the 'YES' button and a portal will appear. You've been wanting to do it for a while now, but your parents won't let you
"Why don't you just give the inheritance to Chiho?" You asked, your brother looked at you as if he was confused
"We also have different plans for him (Y/n). Now about this Anime Portal you are talking about, this will be the last time we will be conversing about this. No means no, (Y/n) (L/n)."
Both of your parents left the dining but you weren't done yet. "WHY WOULD YOU WANT US TO BECOME SOMEONE WE DON'T WANT TO BE?!" your voice cracked as you were on the verge of crying
Your father was already pissed as he approached the dining and slammed his fist on the table, that was already enough for you and your brother to flinch
"YOU DARE TO SPEAK LIKE THAT IN FRONT OF ME?! YOU'RE GROUNDED FOR A WEEK! GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW"
You can't hold it anymore, your tears came out as you sobbed. Both your mother and brother was watching you breaking down as you stomped your feet, going upstairs to your room.
You went straight up to the bed and cried more as you burried your face onto your (favorite character)'s body pillow. You became bored afterwards so you binged watch Hunter x Hunter to kill some time

At has been days since that happened. You were not allowed to go out of your room, so basically you didn't eat enough food or drink water. Your annoying but loving brother would sneak some food for you without letting both your parents know.
It was already nighttime and you can clearly see the moon from your window, you stared at it for a while until someone knocked on your door
"Sis?" Your brother whispered, being careful so that he won't get caught. You opened the door and you saw him holding a take-out chicken nuggets, he gave it to you along with the utenslis and water
"Thanks, Chiho" you flashed him a smile and tried to close the door but he stopped you
"Do you really want to go to the anime world?" He asked, you were really confused on why he was asking such a question when he knows the answer
"Yes. I'm really tired of the bullshit our parents are doing to us"
"You can go now if you wanted to, it's fine to take a break, (Y/n)"
You were surprised at his words, someone finally understands how you feel. "Do you want to come with me if I do that?" You asked him
"Yeah but not know, I'll finish my school first. I don't want to drop out. What anime do you want to get in anyway?"
"Hunter x Hunter. I should meet Hisoka hehehe."
"Tch, fine then. Just tell me when you will leave"
"Tomorrow probably, at night" you told him as both of you can hear noises which you assumed those noises were made by your parents
"I gotta go now, goodnight" befor your brother could run away, you held his hand to stop him
"Wait, thank you, Chiho"
He gave you a warm smile

It was finally the day you have been waiting for. You bid your brother goodbye and already told him about your departure (daichi o fumishimeteee~) and you wrote a letter to your parents. What you wrote in that letter is how you wanted an escape and how you wanted to do this badly
You opened the app in your phone and you heard it is speaking through the speakers of your phone
"Hello! We are the Anime Portal App. Which anime would you like to go in?"
