It's kind of hard to fall in love when you have 2 over-protective best friends, but Evelynn somehow managed to do it. She falls in love, not really knowing if he was 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲.

At Ev's house, 7;30pm Isaac's pov: I drive up to her house and park my car, outside her driveway. I grab the flowers, and fix the petals, as I walk up to her door. I was just about to reach for the doorbell, and I see the door handle churn. It was a middle-aged woman, wearing a frilly, button-up-shirt and a pencil skirt, with shoes that looked too small for her feet. She looks at me with a surprised face and was about to say something but Ev comes rushing behind her, almost out of breath and spits out the words, "He's a friend of mine, were just gonna watch a movie, don't worry". I'm guessing it was her mum, but I'm not really sure, because she just nodded at me, smiled and left. I laugh as I look at Ev, "Is anyone going to invite me in?!!". She laughs and says something along the lines off, "Your early!". I'm not entirely sure if that's what she said because she was still trying to catch hear breath, at the time.

Ev's pov:
He smelt of cigarettes, was carrying red roses, and wearing an all-black outfit to go with that dangerous smile, but to me, he was just sweet, and caring. I invite him in and lead him, into the kitchen. I find a vase to place the roses in. As I do that, he says, "You look very beautiful in that outfit". I reply with a smirk, "only in this outfit?!!". And he quickly, goes on to explain how I look beautiful, every second of every day, and that beige is just my colour.

I grab our tickets off the counter and we both make our way outside. He leads me to the car and opens the door, for me. I giggle and say, "thank you, buut I think I can open a door, myself". And he replies with, "but you shouldn't open a door yourself". I sit in the car, and wait for him to get into the driver's seat. When he gets in, he look at me; I get a little lost, in his deep blue eyes. He smiles and asks, "So, what movie are we watching?!". I stop staring at him, nervously laugh and say, "We're watching the new Avengers movie". He looks at me with a surprised look and says, "Well, I never thought you would watch avengers". I then go on to explain that, "I mean, I'm best friends with Louis and Sam, so they forced me to watch it with them, and then I just became Marvel's number one fan". He chuckles, and starts the car.
