Rosé hung up the phone and turned to glance over at Jungkook, who sat beside her. Knowing that he stayed to clearly eavesdrop on her conversation with Lisa, she purposefully pretended to be stupid by asking, "Mr Jeon, how have you not left yet?"
Jungkook didn't care for Rosé's taunt. He asked in a clear voice, "How... is she?"
Rosé's expression instantly fell. "Nothing much. From her tone, it sounded like she had cried..."
Jungkook furrowed his brows. His hands that were relaxed by his sides instantly balled up into fists. He turned his head and glared at Rosé, clearly repeating each word, "She cried?"
Seeing Jungkook with his guard up like this, Rosé couldn't help but laugh out loud. Only after meeting his murderous eyes did she stop laughing. When she started to speak, her voice carried a hint of laughter, "I was just kidding. Seeing as you're so anxious to know, she seemed alright from her voice. She should be just fine now..."
Before Rosé could finish, Jungkook instantly flipped. His face was dark when he said, "Crazy!"
He reached out and forcefully flung the car door open and left.
Outside the car, Rosé's manager and assistant saw Jungkook, and immediately greeted him with respect, "Mr Jeon."
Jungkook took long, angry strides away as though he hadn't heard them.
One could clearly tell from his back that his body had relaxed a lot more after clenching up earlier when he heard that Lisa had cried.

After Lisa hung up the phone, Rosé's words echoed in her mind.
Even though she had the Jimin's and her family behind her, neither family agreed for her to get mixed up with the complex world of the entertainment industry. And so, without a doubt, neither would help her fix the scandal she had caused. They'd only go to the official staff to block those rumours rather than turn to Rosé to clear things up.
She herself was just a new actress in the entertainment industry. She had only met the people in the crew during filming, so they weren't close enough with her to step out to help. Not to mention, there were very few people in the crew. In the afternoon, they were the ones who made fun of her, and people who she did have good relations with were only third rate actors. They obviously weren't Rosé's level. And so, after thinking about it, the only person Lisa could think of who would turn to Rosé for help was Jungkook.
With that thought, Lisa's heart began to quiver.
That post looked as though Rosé stood out to help her clear things up, but in reality, she had used her celebrity influence to stir up the conversation.
However, there are many ways to kill a scandal. Why would Jungkook specifically choose a way that would help her out the most?
