26.) trouble in paradise

💫Ochako Uraraka's pov💫

Unbelievable.

That's what Katsuki Bakugo was.

Un-fucking-believable

I groaned in annoyance and check my phone, noting that he was 40 minutes late now.

I glance up and notice my boyfriend jogging down the road towards me from the train stop, looking guilty.

Crossing my arms over my chest, I glare coldly as he gets closer, ignoring his soft expression that I would normally swoon for.

"Ochako I am so sorry," he starts and I roll my eyes. "I'm sure you are." I mumble sarcastically, starting to walk away back towards the bus stop.

"I really am Ochako I wanted to be there but I got caught up-"

"So caught up you forgot your pregnant girlfriend?" I snap, turning around to glare at him, making him freeze. He sat there silently, gaping at me till I slowly nod my head. "That's what I thought, this is all on you Katsuki."

We get on the bus and ride back to school in silence, me purposely ignoring him and him probably trying to think of something to say to me.

When the bus finally gets to our stop I stand and get out as fast as possible, not caring if Katsuki was behind me or not.

Walking in through the front door I see Shoto who was smiling until he saw me. "Are you alright?" He asks cautiously. "No."

Still moving quickly I start going up the stairs, hearing Katsuki and Shoto following behind me.

"Ochako come on, let's talk." Katsuki calls, catching up quickly. "Let's not." I snap, feeling my anger bubbling in my stomach.

I barely make it to the top of the stairs before him and manage to get in my room and slam the door before he can stop me.

💥Katsuki Bakugo's pov💥

Shit.

"What the hell did you do?" Todoroki asks, sounding more confused then angry. "I fucked up. I completely forgot about a checkup today and completely missed it." I sigh, running a hand through my spikey hair while pacing the hall.

Todoroki tried to coax her out of her room for a while before we went and got the others, but even Mina couldnt get her to come out. She must be seriously pissed this time.

"You seriously messed up this time Katsuki." Denki huffs, leaning against the wall in the hall way. "I know." I groan, rubbing my face with my hands.

"Ochako! Baby cakes! Lover! Hot stuff! Let me in!" Mina yells, shaking the door nob. "Cut it out Mina that's not helping." Ejirou scolds, putting his hands over hers and pulling her away from the door.

"I'm sorry Eji, but I'm worried!" She huffs, leaning into him. "We all are but Ochakos a big girl and she can take care of herself."

"That's not true, she is my little sister and I will treat her as such!" Denki huffs, pretending to be emotional.

I rolled my eyes a little and started pacing the hall again, watching the floor as I walked. "Its getting late Bakugo, we should all probably be getting to sleep." Todoroki mumbles, giving me a concerned look.

"You guys can go, I gotta fix this." I say softly, looking back at the same door I had been staring at for what felt like hours. "Are you sure bro?" Ejirou asks, carefully pulling away from Mina.

I nod a little and they all understand, slowly saying their goodbyes to Ochako through the door before going back down the stairs to their own dorms.

I let out a deep breath and slowly make my way to the door, softly knocking on the thin wood and lean against it, sliding down to the floor."

"Ochako.. it's just us two up here now." I say softly, trying to find some good reason for missing the appointment without saying too much.

I was met with silence, much like I expected. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she was just sleeping in there.

"Love, I can't make this better if you dont let me..." I say just loud enough to be heard. "You dont have to answer me but can you knock on the door if you are listening."

I hear some shuffling behind the door and I assume she is also leaning against the door one her side. Finally there is a soft knock against the wood and I smile sadly.

"Hi beautiful. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to forget you but I was so caught up in something and I wasnt checking the clock. It wasnt until I began to think about you that I remembered that I promised I would go to that checkup with you." I ramble, leaning my head back.

Theres a long pause before ever so quietly she says, "what were you caught up in..?"

"Well... as bullshit as it sounds I can't tell you. Not unless we got married." I say awkwardly.

"Its a secret?"

"More like classified. The most I can tell you is that me and a few other people in our class were confronted by some pro heroes who asked us to be apart of a classified mission. They have been asking us to fill out some papers about our different point of views and what we would do against certain villains to gather information and see if we could think of something better then they could. Today was our first physical mission."

She goes quiet again before I hear shuffling and the lock on the door softly click.

Quickly standing up I try the handle and sigh in relief when it turns, letting me open the door. I cant help the smile I get when my eyes land on her, looking up at me with curiosity.

"Was it Midoriya and Shoto?" Ochako asks quietly. "Huh?"

"The others that got the offer."

I pause for a second before slowly nodding. "Yes. How did you know that?"

"Midoriya said something to me a long time ago, that you weren't telling the truth, back when you were acting super weird. Is that what that was about?" (Back in chapter 9 if you dont remember)

My eyes widen, surprised that she figured all that out, before narrowing again when I process what Midoriya said. He wasnt supposed to mention anything, I'm sure he would get in a lot of trouble if one of our superiors found out.

"And how about Todoroki?"

"You dont like guys around me that you dont know well, so at first I was confused at why you didnt mind Todoroki. But it would make sense if you spent time with him during those times."

I grin a little as I watch her focused face while she explains her thoughts to me. "Yes beautiful, you're right. Am I forgiven?"

She looks me up and down before she slowly nods. "If you can provide kisses and cuddles you are forgiven."

I chuckle softly and smile. "I can definitely provide." She giggles a little and opens the door further for me to come inside. "Guess what they said at the babys appointment today?"

I sigh in relief and close the door behind me, ready to give all of my undivided attention to my girlfriend for the rest of the day.

"What did they say?"

Chapter 26 is finished! Sorry if it doesnt make a lot of sense, I'm sleep and caffeine deprived so I only have like 1.5 functioning brain cells.
