"Hey Mommy." I said answering the facetime call."Who car you in?" My mom asked me as I laughed.
"Ma I'm in a rental with Lyssa." I said giving Lyssa my phone.
"Where you going?" She asked me.
"Well, we're going to stop by to say hey to you but if you don't want us to then we'll just go see dad-" I said. "Is Aaron home yet?" I asked.
Aaron was my older brother, He was married and have 2 kids Lizzie and Lukus.
"Girl ain't nobody say that shit, and No, they're still in Charlotte, they'll be coming in the morning." She told me.
"Alright I'm about to park the car now." I announced motioning Lyssa to hang up.
"Why Braxton blowing up yo phone." Lyssa asked.
Braxton was this guy I was talking too, nothing to serious, it couldn't even be serious if I wanted it to cause we never talk.
I shook my head. "Ion know, He said he was gon pull up after the funeral." I unbuckle my seat belt and opened my car door.
"You sure we can't stay here? It looks like they have a lot of room." Lyssa said closing the door.
I did the same and shook my head. "Because when my mom gets to talking she gets to talking, don't nobody wanna hear all that." I said clapping my hands together.
Lyssa shrugged.
"Come on." I said locking the car door. "Why the hell did you talk me into this big ass car." I shook my head.
She laughed. "Girll it's cute." She said.
(Aaaahhh that is Alyssa Harris in the picture.)
I used my key to unlock the door then proceeded to walk in the house. "Honeyyyy I'm homeee." I called out closing the door.
"Liyah's going to be so happy to see you again." I heard my mom said as she walked inside the living room. "You girls look so beautiful." She said as I frowned.
We looked like shit, I smacked my teeth. "Momma we look bummy and hot." I said looking towards the dining room. "Who you got here?" I asked her as she shook her head.
"Aint nobody but family, hey baby." My momma said relasing me from the hug and hugging Lyssa.
Lyssa and my mom are so close because when we were in college Lyssa always came home with me so their relationship has grown a lot.
"Have you guys ate yet?" My mom asked. "Doesnt matter, you guys plates are already on the table."
"Thank you Momma T, Liyah be starving me." Lyssa cried out as I rolled my eyes.
